Mikrobi by Moods Plateau

This intro reminds me of several productions. First, the funky tune that
lasts through the whole intro reminds me of music from productions by
Abyss. Also colourchoices and design in some cases remings me of demos
coming from that group.

Effectswise, I like this intro alot. It has very little 3d-effects (if any)
which ofcourse is a good thing. 3d belongs to Doom-alike games, not
productions on the Amigascene. And while I'm on the topic of effects,
the guys in Moods Plateau seems to have the same opinion as I as to what
kind of effects should an Amigaproduction have. I even saw a kind of
reverse floodfill which I really liked.

You can also find resizing cubes in the intro, they are used for everything
from displaying chessfields to names in the greetingspart. Circles also
make up a ball, it reminds me a little of the interferencepart in both
of the Ray Of Hopedemos from Majic 12.

Another issue one can discuss till death is how long should each part
show on screen. This intro suits me well at this point, none of the effects
are shown too long, this makes for an intro that's enjoyable watching more
than once. I cannot think of anything more boring in a sceneproduction
than 3d-effects showing for what feels like about half an hour, then seeing
almost the same effect shown with some other graphics.

Mikrobi is a fairly short production, which I think is good. Moods Plateau
shows the effects they wish to show, then end the production. There's no
point in wasting time, so it ends when what's interesting is ended.

All in all a decent production.

Thank you! I've corrected the date in the article. However, some websites list January 1980 as the date of death.
