Saxonia Issue 03 Part 036
Ending words
By Rumrunner/VOID
l
Right everybody, you have now read yet another issue of the new mag Saxonia.
It's soon a year since issue one, and managing three issues a year is
somewhat decent in these days, I think. During the time we have been up and
going, we have seen diskmags fade away, the real (and good) oldie D.I.S.C
is not released anymore, the maineditor Zerox found too many problems and
too little support to continue.
We still have the Eurochart up and going, and you will also have noticed
if you read the articles listed before these ending words that there's been
a new release of a special mag, Cows'n Snakefights from Nukleus. That means
that Saxonia is not alone on the Amiga magscene, and I hope that we never
will be either. The place would be empty without the other few remaining
mags. Therefore I would also here in the ending words repeat my request
from another article, everybody who wants to keep the diskmags coming,
should do something for them. We see that the makers of Jurassic Pack are
tired of lack of support, and we cannot afford to lose this mag. It's been
with us for a long time and the history should continue as future.
When looking at us here in Void, we will continue making Saxonia, like said,
a new code is to be expected for the next issue, if I can get it finished,
and I also have plans to work on it more evenly than I have for this issue.
Doing all the work the last few weeks makes it hard to give every article
the concern it should have, and the general quality will be higher when
working more evenly and when the inspiration is at the top. Nevertheless
I think that this issue, even if a little small, is the best one yet. The
textformatting-bug from the last time is removed, we have cool music from
Curt Cool, and Mice and articles from different people, each seeing things
from his view, the way it should be.
What this means is that you are also welcome to send in articles for issue
four already now, I will collect them and use them for the next mag. I will
already now also happily receive cliparts and music. The music should so
far be kept as fourchannel ProTrackermodules, but I have a feeling that I
might include support for AHXtunes for next time. It's just that timetrouble
again if it isn't. If you are interested in drawing panels and/or cliparts,
please just ask me what specs are needed, for instance by sending a mail to
rumrunner@sensewave.com
So until next time, keep up the good work.
