01 - Frequently Amigans (computer):
This is the hottest you can be. 24h a day sun, like on the Jamaica
Island with sun all day. They use it in daily life, or actually its a
day-to-day lifestyle with coding, pixling, tracking etc. Me myself don't
have the "rights" to be classified in level 1.1, even if I have an A500..
Also Amigans with other cpu than Motorola 68k (read: PPC et al) are
placed here.
02 - Frequently Amigans (consoles):
Even if CDTV was a fiasko, it's ranked higher than CD32, just as
A500/A1000 are ranked higher than others in 68k familiy above!.
As we all know, older ladies go first! Still summer, but your lifestyle
is seldom. Its like an unvisited Island in the Pacific Ocean vS
Mallorca.
03 - (re)Discovery Amigans:
Again, folks who were active Amigans doing a comeback, are placed
higher coz of earlier experience. Still at this third level it warm, like a
Spring, with its buds and the first leaves blooming out in curiosity. Its
like butterflies when falling in love.
04 - NOT Frequently Amigans:
This contains all models with Amiga Architecture! From A1000 to PPC,
morphOS etc.. More concretly: People using Amiga once in a week or less, but
still reserves space for it on a table.
05 - Linux Amigans:
The middle rang are for people leaving the SW implementation, going to
other cores are placed at this nivau. They believe in fitting the Amiga to
another shape with converted tools. Therefore, they are moving the
Amiga to others, doing covers of tools used on other OS. Instead of directly
develope pure Amiga SW-products. The leaves havn't fall yet, but they are
not fresh green anymore..

This was the last nivau in the scope true
Amigan. Since level 1-5 owns an Amiga.

06 - Emulator users:
Just belove the line, where cold streams meet warm streams, we find
winUAE, and other emulator-users. They are interesting in the Amiga-scene
and culture for sure(!) but are NOT an active Amiga-Spirit! They can't go a
shorter comfortable way. But its still good sharing interests in the
Amiga-community! They use the SW-facilities, but articial HW. The tree
still has its leaves, but influenced by a mature Autumn, they are yellow
and red.
07 - Independent Platform:
People supporting the Amiga scene/community. They are quite independent
on which platform they are working with. Mostly seen in article
writings, ascii-art, homepage-constructing and module tracking. But in the
last years, also common in the pixel/graphics-scene.
08 - Basement Storage:
People still showing some kind of interest on Amiga news portals (level
8.1) are of course ranked higher then level 8.2 but still Poor Amiga! Lying
in the basment without any sunbeams hitting it. As a consequence,
temperature is decreasing. Don't even argue why the autumn is sad and
dropping it's leaves!!
09 - Without ANY Relation:
Always where a group is joining hands, there is a market in some people's
eyes.. And where a market is, there are always some humans with greedy
grabbing hands resoning: we don't have any relation, but we have found
a clique here, filling our benifits. As example it may be collectors
of older computers, who may open a commercial computer museum. Or a
fair- organizer, who never touched an Amiga! With other words:
Small devils surrounded with dark clouds and dark intentions!
10 - Sold Amigans:
A sold Amiga is equal a cold Amiga! Also, leaving for other platforms.
Darkest winter with lowest temperature.
Ex-Amigans with excuses like:
"I don't believe in it anymore" or
"I don't have time anymore". No wonder why they get the lowest rank!

Climbing to level 3 - (re)discovery the Amiga, is as easy as buy it or
plug it in. And from there moving to level 1, only time can tell..
Setting Amiga sceners using the latest Amiga processors like PPC
(see level 1.2) are to be discussed. Some have followed the time-race
(ie going from A500/A1200 to PPC), other use Amiga PPC (et al) only as long
as its comparable to PC-demo factory. And when newskool-developers on
PPC (et al) can't keep the same rythmus as the PC-demoscene, it will be
easier to see who stayed in level 1.2 and who fall to level 10. Again, only
time can tell..
At level 9, Im NOT attacking fair-organizers, or others doing business
with the Amiga platform. Most firms, do have a relation
(read: personal relation) with Amiga and for all these, they are of
course not the ones I write about here.
