Saxonia Issue 04 Part 018
Topic introduction
By Rumrunner/Void
l
I got the idea of selecting a topic which I hoped several people would
write about in this issue, much almost like we saw in last issue of
Cows'n Snakefights. I wanted a personal view on this topic and sent
a mail to several people asking them to write about what they would think
the scene would have looked like today if it wasn't for some of the old
legendary productions and the people behind them. In the mail, I mentioned
things like the Andromeda demos, with design that's still untouched in it's
thoroughworkedness, the Red Sector Megademo with the first hardware
trackloader and so on.
As expected, not many did reply to this, I got one article in return,
which is featured as the next article in this mag. Browallia again came
to the rescue and wrote about his thoughts on the situation.
Other than that, all I got was the following quote, which is quite
interesting :
1 Without groups like Kefrens, RSI, Coma, Rebels, etc. I propably wouldn't
have joined the amigascene and still be a part of it..0
(Quote from Mice/Zenon)
Already in this, we can see that the old ones had a big impact of the scene
and what is has become. Read on to see Browallia's views.
