Southern California Distribution Issue 02 Review 04
Product : James Bond : The Stealth Affair
By : Delphine Software
Graphic : Herc/CGA/EGA/TGA/256VGA
Control : Keyboard/Stick/Mouse
Sounds : PC Internal, Adlib, MIDI.
Group : INC
Release Dt : 11/25/1990
Rating :
--------
Graphic 9 : Pretty good 256VGA graphic. The only thing that keeps
me from giving it a 10 is that I've seen KQ5's awesome
VGA graphic and personally I think they can do better
on this one. But oh-well, the graphic is still nice.
Design 9 : Typical Sierra/Lucasfilm type of adventure design. James
Bond looks pretty good, except that he looks like a nerd
from the side.
Sound 6 : Huh ? No Digital FX ? But the music is pretty good
though, not as anonying even on my PC speaker.
Playability 9 : Nice Mouse Click Interphase. Which makes it not all that
hard to figure out what to do. If anything, Mouse
Interphase takes out the variety of possible commands
with Typying Interphase. But oh-well, guess not everybody
knows how to bam the keyboard ( especially the Mac users,
hehehe... )
Overall Rating : 8.3
Summary :
--------------
This is another one of Sierra/Lucasfilm adventure type of game.
And YES ! You get to play James Bond this time ! ( Oh ! Goodie... )
Anyway, your mission is simple. Find the stolen F-19 Stealth
Fighter and whoever is behind this.
Note : This game is just the US version of Operation Stealth. Except that in
Operation Stealth, you don't get to play James Bond (sigh).
