Saxonia Issue 04 Part 011
Ways of begging written by Browallia/Nukleus
============
b00240036nothteonlyone-192-36.raw
Recently I wrote an article in Jurassic Pack #15 entitled "dedication
to writers".
This is the follow-up in the poor man's land. It's about the editor
1 who is so poor that he can't even pay attention.0 But when he does,
don't expect we are doing it in the same way.
All words using here are freely made interpretations of the chiefs
in house. So I'm not using statements of someone. However, the core
of the messages remains but uttered from my unsealed lips. They are
made in no specific order, but I start of coz to interpret the hotelier
where this piece of document is to be published.
Its time for me to climb inside the body of...
Saxonia (interpretation of Rumrunner)
------------------------------------
Howdy!
This is Rumrunner rumbling on the keyboard. 1 I have one more attention
to the Amiga folks:0 More support would be nice. VOID will not forget you.
Now happy writing and hope you will find the inspiration!
2 Comment:0 Here it was important to me to empasize how much Rumrunner
works alone. Second, he is not making the big call for article support,
which may explain his acts by requesting something.. Somehow his art
reminds me on cool scroller texts. This is indicated in his solid
presence in his expressions..
...and now squeeze myself into:
Eurochart (interpretation of Darkhawk)
-------------------------------------
You can support us, but please do not send any filler articles. We
also don't want any none-scene nor nonsence articles. Hope we didn't
scare you away! Now send in your support asap! ;-)
2 Comment:0 You should support and you should do it in a proper way, aka
the "correct" way. That was my main thing and most significant I wanted
to demonstrate here. Also I wanted to show that EC is scarying people
away from supporting because if you are complete newbie in diskmag writings,
you will get little respect here. The begging art is rough but demanded,
but sometimes trying to signal a nice tone, with an winky smiley attached.
A wolf dressed in a cousy sheep-pyjama? ";-)" Darkhawk gives you a taste
of controlled guidelines and less freedom in writing, which should be
seen as an opposite pole to Cows n Snakefights art of begging. 1 While
CnS can publish an article only intresting for 3 persons, EC wants
articles intresting for the masses.0
Thats two different mentalities we believe in, so good or bad I can't
tell, only inform about.
...and now lets melt-merge together with:
7 Days (interpretation of Greg)
------------------------------
All articles about amiga news, PPC, MOS and AOS are highly important.
Send in if you know something of importance such as amiga news or an
tutorial. Rumours and scenetalk less intresting.
The more articles you send, the better for you :)
2 Comment:0 First of all, this was hard to analyse, since my minimum
skills in polish, and so far I have just got a few articles translated
which isnt much flesh for getting a good shape how this is working.
Still wanted to include the 7days with the others, how I guess this
works out. In 7days, it doesnt only exist a quantitative competition,
also how many kilobytes are important (Kbs are counted in a issue-chart).
Just like Saxonia, 7D didn't make much buzz before its released. Its
more up to the outsider to trace the mag. 1 Generelly in polish diskmags,
help is never offered open, but you get it if you ask for it,0 and you
will get help until you solve the problem. This is nice. Thats why I
put tutorials as a main thing they're requesting. I came up with the
conclusion that rumours are less needed and wanted to describe this with
a small short line. Why? Because polish people belong to the most honest
ones in the world! Telling you what they think, so if you are not aware,
they may hurt your feelings :) They simply say what they think... so less
need or space for rumours within Seven Days.
...and jump into the dino-dress as:
Jurassic Pack (interpretation of Ghandy)
--------------------------------------
I'm sitting here in my wet pants, so take a seat and join the new joyride!
This dinosaur can't wait so join the club and give your
article/graphic/music to me. This baby will come out! now!! Oyeah! fast!!!
Oyeah!
2 Comment:0 dino-Ghandy is expressing in a complete different way when
he is doing his "call of duty". First he wants to assure us the relaxed
situation, then he uses a lot of exclamation marks for persuading us.
Third 1 his fancy begging style reminds me of a a seller,0 trying to
convince us to buy a product. Even if Ghandy is quite experienced in
the diskmag scenia, it doesn't matter which level of experience you are
in writing style. He's taking no skills for granted. But this friendly
side is not that easily detected. What really piss him off, is a broken
promise when article is not comming at all. Much worser than by the other
diskmags stated here. Ghandy counts on you!
...and tongue kiss salivia exchange /yuack!/ with:
Speed/Magic Moments (interpretion of Magic)
--------------------------------------------
If someone wants to support us, I definetly forgot to tell you. The
reason why you should support us? Well we are a cool group (no joke!!
we are still alive!! its not a rumour!!) with a golden past. So write
us your article for joining the tops in the hall of fame!!
2 Comment:0 Just like in Jurassic, Magic is expressing with a lot of
exclamation marks for convincing us that its heavy stoff he is yielding
out. In the last years, I haven't seen that Magic pleads for support. He
is more like making spotlight-adverts (ie: small drops but intensively)
and wait and see if someone is fishing after his bate. Checking where
the wind blows with no further actions. 1 Perhaps he is too proud? Perhaps
he is too carefully0 for taking the risc from start to endpoint?
...and cyber-browwwse myself inside:
kubika.dk (interpretation of Adonis)
----------------------------------
We showed you that multiplatform scenemags on internet works... now you
should show us. Everything of intrest, but it has to have with the scene
to do or creative aspect of the computer. C64-, ZX-, Amiga- and PC-lovers..
All joining hands. Kubika will only be alive if you support it.
2 Comment:0 When I read the K.U.B.I.K.A, I got the feeling that all support
is welcome, but submit your reportage, stories etc from the areas where
you are mostly skilled in. While Jurassic was more or less excusing
themselfs for offering a PC-section some issues ago, such support is legal
here in K.U.B.I.K.A. Also some parts of mentality is shared in Versus
aswell, ie: we exist if you show an intrest for it, else we drop the
project..
...and back again to my own body:
Cows n Snakefights (interpretation of myself)
-------------------------------------------
Send us in everything, we would love to hear your anecdote, and your
view of the scene! You are a part of the scene, thats why your story
is important. You can even send in your "Browallia suxx" article to us..
Personal feedback is highly rewarded. My mailaddy can be found here
and 1 +20 places more0 in case you missed it... ;)
2 Comment:0 I dont want to make sneaky advertising for NLS diskmag, so
this is left without comment, except for this gossip-sentence telling
you nothing, absolutely Nothing!
