So I'm innocently going around on the Internet, mindlessly chewing on
some Dorito's. Not even the good Dorito's either - just plain ol' "old
skool" Nacho Cheese Dorito's. When all of a sudden, the damn chip in my
mouth decides to get evil, and lodge itself into my gums. Now I have a
Dorito stuck in my flippin' gums.

Yeah, it hurt. After some playing around in there, still reading this
webpage I'm at, I finally get it out, but now there is blood. Dammit.
Never did like Dorito's.
. . . : ; ANNOUNCEMENTS and the eve of an Adam's apple...
CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY: Besides appearing in a couple of other places over
the past two weeks, NetSlaves has been pushing the interest back into
Ghost Sites, which was interviewed for the Boston Globe, as well as
having a mention in Upside.com... Rumors also say (or at least a new
subscriber does) that Devil Shat was in one of the paper editions of
Yahoo! Magazine. If someone finds out which one, lemme know. And Ghost
Sites got a big push after being mentioned on Slashdot. That felt good.
NEW DEVIL SHAT (#FortyThree): It's that time again! Yes, the coming of
the new year heralds the increment of our own stupid event: Happy
Done-That Year! And as stupid as it sounds (we know, it does), there is
a reason for it. Stop by Devil Shat to find out exactly what (maybe by
the time you do, we'll have figured it out).
NEW NETSLAVES: Continuing the tradition of Disobey, NetSlaves doesn't
slow down for a moment and regales readers with the Story of K... who
goes from a menial fry cook to the King of Production. Oh, but it's not
without its poison - you might want to start at the NetSlaves Store
(recently opened) before you imbibe this deadly mixture.
ZERO REVIEWS: Zero was updated with a crapload of reviews - mostly to
fill in all of the holes from the previous weeks. Be sure to stop by and
take a look at the reviews (as well as the previous). You can be assured
to find about five or six you haven't seen before.
MINOR UPDATES: Low Bandwidth met some new archives as usual - hopefully
within a couple of weeks I'll be able to do some cleaning within them.
They're getting a little unwieldy and repetitious as it is;

NEW MOVIES: Due to a Christmas present, I now am the proud owner of THE
MALTESE FALCON, which although I consider myself a lover of old movies,
I have never seen. After watching it Christmas Day, I must now beat
myself for not seeing this long ago. What a great movie. Wonderful
addition to my collection.
NEW SECTION (SNEKAPEKA): Welp, the new section is well underway, with
the design starting to flesh itself out, and the work on the coding
slowly being set in stone. This will be a huge one, folks. And this will
be something you can compare other websites to and see if we make the
grade. Coming Soon: October 31, 1999.

[Cool-Movie-of-the-Week]-= And It's Not A Horror Movie
---Besides the fact that THE MALTESE FALCON is a wonderful piece of work,
---MIGHTY JOE YOUNG from Disney wasn't that bad either. When I first saw
---the trailer in the theatre I didn't think the ape looked that bad, and
---after seeing the whole movie, they did an excellent job on making it
---look real. Definitely spent some time with this one. The plot was
---pretty standard Disney fare though - loved animal gets hated by
---everyone, then saves the world, dies, and comes back to life all happy
---ending-ish.
[What-the-hell-of-the-Week]-= Rob Zombie on where??!?
---I'm flipping the channels as I eat my cup of soup, and I see Rob Zombie
---on MTV. No big deal. He's sitting on a couch, showing some girl his
---hreads that he wears to concerts (pause here for a second: did I just
---say "threads"?). Anyways, I didn't think that big of a deal of it, until
---I learned that the show was House of Style! House of Style? What the hell
---is Rob Zombie doing on House of Style?? Dammit.
