WELCOME TO LOW BANDWIDTH: Not only did we eat, sleep and breath Low
Bandwidth for the past two weeks, we are also releasing it to the public
in a blast of fanfare and hip parades. I can hear the drums beating now
outside my door. Wish you were here. Low Bandwidth is a database of
"push" content... you pick what you like, it comes to you. The database
is also a combination of both E3 and Todd Kuiper's Email Zine Listing...
two places that were good in their own time, but have now combined with
Low Bandwidth to be even better. Come check it out, we have a lot in

NEW DEVIL SHAT (#TwentyNine): How can we do all this work when it's only
one guy (even though I use the term "we" all the damn time). Don't ask.
In this issue, Morbus (that's me) talks about why people have been
missing the point about "push" technology ever since they added glitzy
animation. A nice tie-in to the new release of Low Bandwidth.
GHOST SITES GOES MAD-ASS CRAZY: The list of kudos it has gotten in the
past two weeks alone: Number 21 of 500 on the People's Choice Website,
winning the ProjectCool award, and getting YAHOO's Daily Pick. Thank
you! And as much as Yahoo gives us such a honorable position, you have
to wonder why in Yahoo! Internet Life, they gave the idea of a ghost
site a name such as "Orphan Annie". What the hell? It's a ghost site.

SITE UPDATES: Well, we squeaked some last remaining updates out of the
time that we have... you can expect to find that all the ?Subject lines
included within the Javascript Mouseovers have been changed to ?subject,
the background image on the main page has been slightly darkened, all
URLs that did not have a finishing "/" have gotten them now, and the
copyright dates on the text issues of Ghost Sites has been fixed.
And finally, we also reuploaded the entire site to make all the
timestamps match up... cos we're anal like that.

NEW RECORD HIGH: Just thought you wanted to know that our old record
high of number of hits in one week to the website was 29,000. Well, we
kicked that record's ass by getting 54,000 this past week. Thanks again.
UM...: This issue is kinda small. Why? Cos the only thing we have been
doing all week is working on Low Bandwidth. Everything else just kinda
faded away. We'll do better next week. We'll be more aware. Yeah, we're
also damn tired, so this issue of the Groove probably sucks.
UM... REVISED: I've just gotten word that I have a crapload of Blah
Blahs for you... apparently Yakub wrote some. Only problem being, I have
to travel my ass down to his work to get them. That is why this issue is
kinda late. But hey... you're back to the normal size for an issue...
that's important.
UM... REVISED, TWO HOURS LATER: Well, I'm finally back. It's hot out
there, even considering it's 2:11 in the morning. Annoying too,
considering that they didn't have any cups at Kinko's for my Cafe Mocha.
Those bastards are out to get me. Anyways... the BlahBlahs have been
added. Yay.

[Movies-I-Watched-of-the-Week]-= The Day The Earth Stood Still
---Actually saw this on the big screen... it was a great movie during
---a sad event: the closing of a 30+ year old theatre that I visited quite
---frequently. Why is it being closed down? Home Depot or Office Max is
---coming. Fuckers. Scuse my language, but you'll have to understand.
