One last off topic message, Dave. You mentioned using the ICD link

whether the Link works with Spectre GCR in mac mode, or did you have to use
Diamond Back to transfer the Mac files in ST mode??

I have a GRAVIS mousestick optical controller. This is a fully
programable joystick/mouse-emulator. It has it's own CPU which runs off of
phantom power from the computer.
Features include:
* up to 1200 lines of resolution
* 4 programmable presets
* extensive editing menues
This is the most sophisticated input controller available. It is
insurmountable in applications of:
*CAD or art/drawing programs
*Gaming (has turbo-fire function)
*Flight simulators (stands on its own base)
I would really like to _trade_ it for a DS/DD external floppy or a
16MHz accelerator; but cash offers will be considered. Well whadaya
think???

S.PORETSKY [SOLPORETSKY], CAT 27, TOP 2, MSG 93/M475, Aug 23, 1993
HAVE I GOT A COMPUTER FOR YOU.
I've got a Mega ST2 treated with MUCH TLC with some real advantages
over other systems that you may consider buying... It has all of the
original features (Blitter, Tos 1.02, battery backed clock/calendar,
decent detached keyboard), and some other nifty extras. I've installed a
JRI JATO board which clocks anywhere from 16 to 86% above regular ST speed
on math compuration. I've also gotten rid of the original Atari Mouse,
replacing it with a much better Golden Image mouse. The FD was replaced in
6/92, and it was rarely used, since I got a hard disk at the same time. ON
top of all that, the motherboard has room for 2MB more chips (if you're
comfortable with soldering). I should warn you though that the RF cage was
removed when the JATO was installed (did I mention that the JATO is
SOCKETED so that it'll be easy to pop a different accelerator in?), and
that the keyboard cable works fine but looks a little unhealthy.
It's in original packaging and I'm asking $350 + shipping, but I need
$$$ so I'm willing to be flexible (just got a MSTE and I need some money to
pay down my Visa). This is a winning system and you will be VERY happy if
you decide to make it yours...

All,
I hate to gripe, especially when doing so will show my own ignorance,
but when you put items up for sale, can you be a bit more discriptive of
what your selling. For example, what is a Spectre GCR, Complete or other
wise? Thanks!
Bill D.
------------
REALM [Joey], CAT 27, TOP 2, MSG 103/M475, Aug 26, 1993
Bill, the Spectre GCR is a MAC in box basically. It lets you use a
lot of Apple Macontosh software on your Atari ST/TT. The Complete means
everything is there you don't need to purchase anything else to use it. If
you bought it new you would have to add ROMs to it. $200.00 is an
extremely good price for a complete one.

Bill,
A Spectre GCR is the Mac emulator for the ST. "Complete" apparently
means it comes ready to use (you don't have to add any little thingies that
can't be mentioned here for fear of telling it like it is and embarassing
someone, or something like that).
I'd be happy to tell you more about that last part in e-mail.

P.LEFEBVRE [T.K.], CAT 27, TOP 3, MSG 33/M475, Aug 19, 1993
I have a lot of software for sale w/original boxes (unless noted).
Some of this software is old, but it still works good and may be of use to
somebody out there. These are good prices, so I expect they'll be going
fast. If I have time, I'll try and keep this list updated. The software
will be sent immediately upon receiving a check (and cashing it), or a
money order.
I'll also be willing to take trades on other software items (depending
on the item), or give a discount if two or more pieces of software are
bought at one time. Send me email with any offers.

I'm looking for a STE with a *SOCKETED* 68000 on board. All i really
need is the motherboard; it doesn't need the 68k, the TOS chips (2), the

work. No socketed 68k, no deal.
