Since Advenced Gravis had filed bankruptcy petition there are many
rumors around. One says that Logitech will produce the product palette.
Second is that American Megatrends Inc. bought Gravis and will release
a GUS PRO in the near future. We'll report about this and the future
of this marvellous soundcard in the next issues.

Alpha of Axxellerator Logics does his military services now. His
alternative services request has been denied in the last minute.
BTW: Fear and a couple of other finnish dudes (members of Mental
Design, Sonic PC, etc...) will go soon to the army also...

Dune ]['s sysop, TSC, is now called CyberDancer. Hope he will

A bunch of dutch lamers ripped the famous:) Magican BBS intro and didn't
even greet or at least mention the original creators. Shame on them!

Logic Design is planning to release their demo 'the prologue' (of which
the preview version got 2nd place on bizarre party) on Assembly 94

Supreme is making a little Razor-intro for The Brain BBS in Holland.
It's just a little intro, round 12kb, but you will see it soon on
the boards.

Iguana is finishing a huge production for ASM'94. Perhaps they will name
it 'Natural Disaster'. (Hope the name won't mean itsef :-)

The Lords Of The Bits, a fresh new spanish DemoGroup, has released his
first Music Disk, called Wally. It's available to download from
BlasterSound their WHQ.

Latest version of famous Iguana/VangelisTeam's VangelisTracker is about
to be released. New version supports .MTM format and a lot more. Now all
depends on JCAB/Iguana. Maybe he prefers the beach more than the hard
computer work! :-)

BlasterSound BBS will release a CD-Rom with plenty sounds and musics, plus
all released art from ASM'94. Perhaps it'll be possible to buy that CD-Rom
in early September'94.

Alpha Flight, well known on Amiga and PC as a piracy group, is now invading
the PC Demo scene. They are building up a demo section and are mainly
looking for gfx artists and musician.

Psychosquads will release a superb advertisement soon. It is mainly coded
by Black Sun and some additional pieces by Ron.

Finally Outlaws created their own demo section. They consist of
4 members who practice full assembly language. Several other dudes
are to present a huge demonstration in 5 or 6 months. Nic of The
Raider Brothers did formally for them.

Diffusion - who originally wanted to organize an own PC winter party this
year - joined the 'official' PC party organizing team which is now lead
by Ulrik/Bonzai and Steel/Diffusion. It actually looks like that the party
will be held in Aars, Denmark (for everyone who doesn't know it!). Since
most members of Diffusion and Bonzai live there.

Creativity Demo Net, founded 2 years ago by the Future Crew and
Dutch Computer Enterprises, died as Abyss retired from CDN.

A new french group called Zoom is born. There will be a slideshow by
their gfx artists soon. Be sure to catch it!

Timo of Xography and his parents moved along with his bbs to another
place. The new number of crystal is yet unknown. We'll publish the number
when we got informed. If you are one of theese crystal fanatics and are
willing to pay 1.15 DM per minute (more for foreign callers) he managed to

Somewhere in time seems to be offline. Dr.Nunu, Sam/IMPCDA
and another dude started the BBS about a half year ago.

Seems that it's really the end of time for this marvellous board
which was one of the few well running american demoboards. He had
three crashes in only two months what forced him to resign.

Dune ][, WHQ of Phantom Design in Hungary, is not responding anymore.
His parents didn't want the bbs so he merged it with another hungarian
board called Black Abyss (sysop: The Kreator).

Genesis BBS in Belgium has changed the BBS software. It's now running under
PCBoard no more ULTRA BBS for him.

A new french group with Karl (coder), Ra (gfx), and Moby (music) (You have
propably heard about Ra and Moby before, they were both members of Sanity,
which is one of the best Amiga groups) is currently forming. The name of
the group will be NoooN. Karl will propably introduce the group at ASM'94.
They are thinking about competing in the 4k-compo under the NoooN label.

Byte (Magican) and Gandalf (Ace) got the idea to write down all rumors
they get, Byte made an ascii, both brainstormed about it's design, purpose,
etc. and finally made it (as you may have noticed). It's aim is to bring
you all those neat rumors fast and reliable. It will be released at least
monthly or more preferred twice a month. It is based on each of you who want
to share cool rumors. Paticipating ? No problem:

Although they said they won't come to ASM'94, Walken/Impact Studios will
perhaps compete in the 4Kb compo, outperforming a 486DX2/66 as they did
with the 286/16 in their previous demos Legend and Realtime...

The Coexistance will release their first megademo at Assembly. The demo
will support a dance part inside.

Most of you have the same opinion according school - You want to drop it -
but nobody really does. Lord Cyrix of Access Denied has done it!
He opened a small computer store in Belgium.

Keen Like Frogs are going to release their own module player and tracker
on Assembly 94. They released the Journey which won the TRSi late easter
Party some days ago. Btw: It's worth downloading!

musician has changed his handle to SODA.

Fire Skull released a magazine called trip2PSD.ZIP recently. The Mag has
nothing to do with a swiss group called Psychosquad [PSD] even if it is
about them. They didn't know anything about it, hence Fire Skull released it.
Most of the texts are taken from captures of chats with the organizer of PSD.
Nobody in made an interview with them. So, ignore that issue of trip2psd
and / or nuke it on your board.

Blue Adonis got married in June, Honey Moon in Caribeans. We wish
him happiness and a bunch of little rave composers ;)

Toydealer / Hounted Dogs joined Radical Rhythms as coder. Raistlin / CPM
joined them as a free lancing courier. DAC and Toxic Trancer from Fatal and

How to participate:
If you are a sysop, just write a mail to your country office listed in
the file scene.dst included in this package. If you are a user there, just
tell its sysop, he will transmit your contribution to us.
How to get this great piece of art:
The Scene Post will be released twice a month. It will be sent to demoboards
and hatched through DGI. Just check out your favorite demo board, if he/she
didn't get it, just tell him/her it's a shame! :)
