Geek Gadgets May 98 Snapshot
Geek Gadgets(TM) contains the Amiga Developers Environment (ADE), a project organized by Cronus to produce and support Amiga ports of dozens of the most popular development tools and utilities from the Free Software Foundation, BSD, and other sources.
This CD contains virtually all the tools you need to get started programming on the Amiga, including advanced C, C++, Fortran, and ADA compilers, assembler, linker, EMACS editor, "make", source code control systems (rcs & cvs), text and file utilities, GNU debugger, text formatters (groff & TeX), and more. Also included are beta test versions of ports in progress, like a port of the X Window System (X11R6.1).
This Update (May 1998) contains approx. 400MB of compressed files including all sources.

Geek Gadgets(TM) beinhaltet das Amiga Developer Environment (ADE). ADE ist ein von Cronus (Fred Fish) organisiertes Projekt, mit dem Ziel, Amiga-Portierungen von Dutzenden der populärsten Entwicklerwerkzeuge und Entwicklerutilities der Free Software Foundation, BSD, und aus anderen Quellen für den Amiga verfügbar zu machen.
Diese CD enthält nahezu alle Software, die Sie benötigen, um mit der Programmierung des Amigas zu beginnen, inklusive moderner C, C++, Fortran, und ADA-Compiler, Assembler, Linker, EMACS Editor, "make", Source-Code-Verwaltungs- systeme (rcs & cvs), uvm.. Desweiteren sind Beta-Versionen verschiedener noch in Entwicklung befindlicher Projekte, u.a. auch eine Portierung des X Windows Systems (X11R6.1) enthalten.
