Welcome to the VaS music reviews. In this issue we are going to go and
take a peek at some of the awesomest music out there that you can buy. This
is the suggest listening music for the VaS reader. Today we will review 9
albums and talk about each one, and some of the better songs on them. Anyhow,
here we goes...

ANTHRAX: I'm The Man.
---------------------
This is not an actual album, but an EP. It contains 6 songs, 3 of
which are their song "I'm The Man". They give you the censored radio version,
the uncensored version, and a live version. This is a really cool song, kind
of a thrash metal/rap collaberation. Pretty cool stuff. They also throw in a
cool cover of "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" by our friends Black Sabbath, and 2
other live songs - "Caught In A Mosh" and "I Am The Law". All the songs are
really cool, a definate must-have, and being an EP, you can probably get the
tape for $5 and the CD for around $8.

CYPRUS HILL: Cyprus Hill.
-------------------------
Here we go with some 'Latio-Rap'. This is a very odd rap album, with
lots of FuNKy lyrics and some awesome rythms. If you are into the alternative
rap scene (ie Tribe Called Quest, etc.) this is a good album for you. Some of
the better songs are "Hand on the pump" and "Hole in the head". I think they
have a video out on Mtv, but its so censored you only hear half the fucking
song! Anyhow this is a really cool album , I would strongly suggest it if you
are tired of rap and metal.

OZZY OSBOURNE: Randy Rhoads Tribute.
------------------------------------
Randy Rhoads was by far the best guitarist of his time, and today if
he were still alive would rival Satriani, Vai, and Van Halen. This album is
almost a 'greatest hits' of Ozzy's older songs. It includes such classics as
"Crazy Train", "Suicide Solution", "Flying High Again", and "Mr. Crowley" with
some other great songs from Ozzy's Black Sabbath days such as "Paranoid" and
"Iron Man". If you are an ozzy fan, and don't already have this album, This
is probably his best album, Its all live concert compilations of Ozzy in his
prime. Includes a great guitar solo by Rhoads and a drum solo too!

BEASTIE BOYS: Check Your Head.
------------------------------
This album is quite a bit different from the boys earlier efforts,
less 'rap' on it so to speak, more kinds of instrumental pieces and
alternative stuff. There is even a song featuring Ted Nugent, but i cant even
hear it. The 2 most popular songs on here are "So Watchya Want" and "Pass The
Mic". Both are good songs, but there are other good ones such as "Finger
Lickin' Good". If you arent into intrumental kind of stuff, you may want to
look into their earlier albums (Paul's Botique and License to Ill).

KISS: Smashes, Thrashes & Hits.
-------------------------------
This is KISS's greatest hits, full of great songs. This is the ideal
album for KISS fans who dont really want to spend a few hundred dollars
buying all the albums just to hear all the good songs <KISS releases a lot
of lame songs in my opinion>. This one has 15 of their best songs, including
"Detroit Rock City", "Strutter", "Beth", and "Rock and Roll All Night". I
beleive KISS is on a nationwide club tour at the current moment as well, so
keep an eye out for them. They may be old, but they can still rock hard.

ANTHRAX: State Of Euphoria.
---------------------------
This is by far my favorite Anthrax album. Their others are either a
bit too heavy, or a bit too slow or 'rap-py'. This album features their unique
style of metal, including such great songs as "Antisocial" and "Now It's
Dark". This is their 'cleanest' sounding album, and just an all out cool
album. Plus if you get the tape, you get a NeEt0 3-d HoLoGrAm AnThRaX LoGo
STiCKeR!

METALLICA: Kill 'Em All.
------------------------
This is Metallica's first album, and possibly one of their heaviest.
On this album they were more of a thrash metal band than heavy metal in my
opinion. They do include a really cool bass guitar solo from the late Cliff
Burton. Some of my favorites on this album are "Jump In The Fire", "The Four
Horsemen", and "Whiplash".

METALLICA: Ride The Lightning.
------------------------------
Yet another cool Metallica album here. This album is kinda mellow in
some spots, most of the songs have slow parts to them, but they are cool slow
parts, not lame ballad shit. This one has a few marathon songs on it, such
as "Ride the Lightning", "Fade To Black", "Creeping Death", and "The Call of
Ktulu" which all top the 6 minute mark. Basically this is classic metallica,
the songs will grow on you.

Metallica: Master Of Puppets.
-----------------------------
Ok, this is the last of the Metallica reviews (The last review in
fact). This one is their last album with Cliff Burton on it, and all songs
here top the 5 minute mark, with 3 songs topping 8 minutes! This one has lots
of fast and heavy songs such as "Battery", "Master Of Puppets" and "Disposable
Heroes" with a couple of slower songs called "The thing that should not be"
and "Welcome home (Sanitarium)".

Well anyhow that concludes the reviews. Hope you enjoyed! If you did,
let me know and I will get ya more!
