We Did Not Whimsy

we did not whimsy our way where we went,
but a Master mapped free passage and fully paid
what we overspent.
we did not melancholy the mountains where we pray,
but a Servant severed our handcuffed depression
exposed to noonday.
we did not tomb our tired corpse of sin,
but Life, enraged and impassioned, slew by dying
the death we lived in.
we do not errand awry our servant living,
but love, for Love, starts our hands and feet bowing
toward boundless giving.
