We were cruising the city the other night. My partner gently caressed his 
heavy sidearm over and over again, constantly repeating that he wanted to 
slay someone. But we had no luck that night. No sucker crossed our path. We 
comforted ourselves with the fact that there would come more nights. But 
there would be no more nights for us. We had made some mistakes; the next 
morning, we were contacted by internal affairs.
