 i wish i could write in circles 
 this i have been saying all day to myself or the bird on my 
 shoulder perhaps to the dirt in my pocket or the dye in my hair 

 i wish i could write upsidedown 
 but the screen prevents it or maybe the lines or the keys or 
 the way it is broken and only reads the corner of no or yes and 

 i wish i could scream 
 but that would disturb the bugs on my scream and the skin that 
 lives upstairs in the room across from mine or the room down the 
 hall or in the wing of yesterday i went fishing 

 i didn't go fishing yesterday 
 i have only once gone fishing and i didn't really fish and cought 
 crey fish that we later ate along with the fish that was very good 
 oh so long ago 

 my cat likes to sleep 

 my skin likes to turn into little goosebumps or peel from the burn 

 i wish i could float but i can cause i am 

 or maybe run! 

 from town to town 

 with the birds and the bugs and the bees and the boats with oars 
 and sails to get away from here in or towards the land or the sun 
 or the moon
