DATA RESEARCH ADDS EBSCO DATABASES TO INFORMATION GATEWAY
Data Research Associates, Inc. has signed an agreement with EBSCO
Publishing to provide EBSCO's Magazine Article Summaries and
Academic Abstracts through the Data Research Information Gateway.
The EBSCO indexes are tape loaded into the library's DRA system,
where they are searched using familiar OPAC commands.
Magazine Article Summaries covers articles appearing in the New
York Times and 371 general interest periodicals selected for use
by school and public libraries based on EBSCO Subscription
Services' statistics.
Academic Abstracts covers articles appearing in the New York
Times and 757 periodicals most commonly found in academic
libraries according to EBSCO Subscription Services' statistics.

NEW RELEASE OF SCIENCE CITATION INDEX CD-ROM PLANNED
The Institute for Scientific Information has announced that it
will release a new version of its Science Citation Index Compact
Disc Edition (SCI CDE). The new edition will add English-
language author abstracts, which are available for 83% of the
indexed articles, to the database. The new release is scheduled
for July 1992.

Demonstration disks for the new release are available at no cost.

NEW PACS REVIEW EDITORIAL BOARD MEMBERS APPOINTED
The Editorial Board of The Public-Access Computer Systems Review
has recently been expanded. The Public-Access Computer Systems
Review is an electronic journal about end-user computer systems
in libraries that is distributed on BITNET, Internet, and other

The Public-Access Computer Systems Review announced a new section
of the journal, Refereed Articles, in November 1991. Articles in
this section are peer reviewed by Editorial Board members.
Authors now have the option of submitting a paper to either the
Refereed Articles section or the Communications section (papers
for this section are selected by the Editor-in-Chief and the
Associate Editor, Communications).

R. R. BOWKER ANNOUNCES LIBRARY REFERENCE PLUS
R. R. Bowker has released a new CD-ROM product, LIBRARY REFERENCE
PLUS. This product includes the American Library Directory;
American Book Trade Directory; Publishers, Distributors and
Wholesalers of the United States; The Bowker Annual Library and
Book Trade Almanac; Literary Market Place; and International
Literary Market Place. Both field-oriented and full-text
searching are supported; 69 access points are provided.
