"What exactly is it that you have to say about time travel anyways?"
"Well, it's one of my most favorite subjects."
"What did you say?"
He stopped chewing on the pen for a moment, sliding it to the side of his
mouth with his tongue.
"Time travel is one of my favorite subjects. Ever since I was little,
every book remotely related to time travel, has passed through my hands."
"What about the books they haven't written yet?"
"Some of the volumes that have existed in the futures passed, in addition
to some of the latest and greatest releases of the distant and far away
times."
"Are there certain books that don't exist anymore?"
"Naturally. Once time travel become common in the households across the
galaxy there was a lot of contradiction in the nature of time. People
would go back to stop Hitler but would be to late. Someone had already
taken the steps to make sure Hitler obliterated the Jews worldwide."
"Hitler?"
"Exactly. At one point and time Adolf Hitler was a fascist dictator of
a European country known as Germany. Europe is to the North East of the
Atlantis divide... They still call it that right? In Hitler's 'time,'
the landmasses that the divide runs through were separated by an ocean
and his transgressions against the Jews led to a world war."
"So why have I never heard anything about this?"
"I am sure you have, but it's the same reason those books don't exist
anymore. So many people are constantly traveling through time and their
continual actions are making the present so confusing it was if time
travel didn't exist."
"But according to everyone I have talked to, time travel DOESN'T exist."
"They just don't know any better and the last thing we need is people
from the present traveling through time. I can only imagine the things
that would have to be gone back and fixed or rearranged if some of the
corporations got a hold of time traveling technology."
"Corporations could do great things with the technology! They would stop
famine and violence worldwide."
"Let me tell you something about what corporations and what they would
do!"
As night fell the legend and lore of Earth's time travelers were explained
in as many fables as this time traveler could recall. Being a time
traveler overloads the brain's circuitry more often than not so for all we
knew, he was lying. But for each lie he told, there was probably someone
out there working towards making it a truth, just as there was someone
out there working towards making sure that the truth would be manipulated
to better serve the almighty corporations who were responsible for
developing the original time traveling machines. After all, since the
discovery of time travel it was these corporations that allowed everyone
to travel through time. Unknowingly, even those who meant well were
serving these corporations.
But that's just how the story goes.

the wonderful world of music that makes gir giddy like a school girl.
