i have just uploaded an ANSI/vt100 emulator, with source, i wrote
recently. well, it is almost ansi/vt100 (doesn't do scroll regions).
it should handle most of the commands in a normal vt100 termcap
and all the commands in a pessimistic ANSI termcap. it also switches
the system font (uses line A to find the font header) so that it
recognizes bold, underline, and reverse graphics modes. sorry, no
blinking mode. with that, i have only included fonts for monochrome.
no fancy stuff, but there is a shell escape. executable included.
look for file t100.zoo (zoo 2.1 archive) at atari.archive.

I recently decided to set up a C compiler on my ST. I went to the atari.archive
to get the gcc distribution. Unfortunately, I could not find a listing of what
files are necessary to get started. Could someone (who is familiar with the
atari.archive files) tell me which of the .zoo files I need?

Subject: Help with Rodime RO5128S drive w/ ICD Host Adapter

I have a Rodime RO5128S (Type 02) hard drive that I want to hook up to
my ICD Host adapter and my Atari ST. The drive is a SCSI drive. The
Adapter isn't recognizing the drive. I don't have any specs on the
drive, like number of tracks and cylinders. Does the drive come with
parity enabled? I cross posted this to comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware
hoping someone would have information on the drive at least, if not on
how to hook it up to the Atari ST with the ICD Host Adapter. Any
information would be appreciated. Thanks.

When calling from overseas you have to skip the leading zero.
OXYD was a bestselling game in Germany and Meinolf comes in Oktober
with the second part called OXYD2. He also designed a new game called
SPACOLA which is a space adventure. All these programms are Dongelware.
This means that you can copy these programms freely and you can play
the first couple of levels. But to play the entire game you need a
code Book. The Dongle. The book for OXYD costs 50 DM.

My feeling of this is that you NEED (i never read you did) to remove or
at least deactivate the 256K Chips , which normaly reside in BANK 0
In the case you forgot that, the hardware gets into VERY big Trouble when
reading from the rams at an Address greater than 512K. If you leave the
HIGH Address line unconnected (MAD10 i think) the system reads and writes
into the same bytes, which shouldn't make any Problems.
I somehow lost the beginning of this discussion, so if this was already
done please excuse me.

DC Run Rez _is_ a program that will switch resolutions before executing a

Also included is Turbo-MAS68k Assembler.
You have the ability to generate code for 68000,68010, '20, and '30
supporting the 68881 and 68882 coprocessors.
Thre interface is BGI (Borland Graphics Interface) and not GEM....
This is OK, though, because I've had 12 windows open at once in the
debugger...( I stopped at 12.... too many to watch at once...).

Its true, I ported zoo 2.1 once, but this was more or less to compete it
with LHarc. After I heard, someone else is workin on zoo 2.1, I deleted the
sources. In fact, I only have a megafile 30 :-(
