In the IBM C language Manual (SC09-1128) I read the following:
Integer constants are always positive. If you want to write a
negative constant, use a unary minus operator, as in -53. This is
actually a "constant integer expression", but the compiler accepts
it anywhere an integer constant is permitted, and it computes the
value for you at compile time. (On System/370, the expression
-2147483648 must be type cast to int to represent the negative
integer with the largest magnitude.)

Warning: Supercharger doesn't understand the standard ACSI-commands
as described in SH204/205-manual. So DON'T (!!!) start any tools
that assume that you have only standard hardware connected to your
ACSI bus. Yesterday, RATEHD formatted my hard disk drive, because
Supercharger was confused by the inquire command...

The cheapest easiest way to get money from the US to Europe: put the dollar
bills in an envelop and put a stamp on it. I know enough people going
to/coming from the States and East European countries to make them useful.

When I lived in Germany I was told I could deposit my US checks from my
private bank if I had an account at the bank and I was willing to wait
until the check had cleared the US (and a very small fee). It was to be
handled as a "Nur zur Verrechnung" check -- I didn't get Bargeld (sorry,
cash), the money had to be deposited in the account when the check
cleared. Of course, I could then go in and withdraw it.

Will the Michael @ unido.informatik.uni-dortmund.de who tried to send mail
back via UKC either post his reply to the net or try sending it to MS2@UKACRL
as UKC won't talk to salf.d. Ta. (Sorry for using net bandwidth like this but
sometimes getting mail to the UK is about as easy as getting info from ATARI)

Sorry no signature file but replies outside the UK may be sent to:-
D.WADE@D.SALF.AC.UK - Most Places, MS2@UKACRL - Bitnet.

Message-ID: <1990Feb23.070236.20529@cunixf.cc.columbia.edu>

Hi. I am sure these questions have been asked (and answered) previosuly but
I have no other source to ask....

I have the Mega4, Megafile30 and color & B/W monitors. I need to be able to
partition the hard drive so that I have 2 ST partitions for work and music
s/ware and one each for PC-Ditto and Mac s/ware. How do I go about doing it.

Another question...before the hard drive I had a RAMDISK program in my auto
qwfoldewhich gave me a C: Ramdisk. Now that I had formatted the Megafile
as 4 ST partitions of C, D, E and F I reinstalled the RAMDISK as G but it
does not work. Is the RAMDISK supposed to be logically before the Hard drive
partitions? So do I have to re-format the HD with new drive letters?

Please oblige with your help. thanks.

That message happen to a friend. But I believe that's because I've
patched his Rainbow-TOS for the 68020. The TOS14FIX also doesn't work
(because of Line F). This doesn't matter because I'd included this
patch. Now I'm not sure if FOLDERxxx works after including the poolfix
patch. Which way do FOLDERxxx add memory to the pool in Rainbow TOS?
