well, once again Atari Corp has shown how much it cares about the
USA market by releasing its new products overseas first. I really wonder
just how committed Atari corp is to the USa market anyway??
So, I am happy that the STe isn't Vaporware but it just joins the group of
other Atari products that have never been sold here in the USA. Like th
entire line of PC clones, the TT, and now the STe. Geez, when will Atari ever
learn
that the USA is not some hick third world country?

Could someone direct me toward the best Epson LQ800 driver
that presents the least amount of flaws?
Also.. do these drivers emulate Imagewriter?
Will ATM work with them?
Thanks a lot..

This is a neat one, I must admit, although there are some things that
object to STARSTRK's presence, so if you have problems running something,
try removing it from your DAs.
It especially is neat in a dark room... I happened to turn off the lights
but not the system when I went to dinner one evening.
Btw, the black/white reversal is probably safer than an all-black screen saver.

Hi Richard!
You've probably already read my posting about the "house" that isn't a home.
Actually, we're not at all tough to find... you just got directions from
the wrong person. :-)
Yes, there is a large dog there sometimes, but she has no malice towards
felines... curiousity, perhaps, but no malice. She has one huge benefit,
though... she keeps the attention of the children that parents bring in
but don't watch! :-) (Well, the dinosaur collection helps, too.)
Can someone tell me why it is that parents let their children get away
things at a store they would *never* let them get away with at home?
(Heck, no... we don't mind if Johnny/Johnette rips open 15 boxes
of software, pounds on the keyboard, yanks the machine off the desk
with the joystick or pulls the phone out of our hands while we're
trying to talk with another customer so s/he can say "hello"... )
Please... those of you who are parents and take your kids to your local
computer store... do your dealer a favor and don't expect the salesfolks
to babysit. Thank you thank you thank you!

One of the members of our local club would like to install PC-speed
in his 1040ST.
Have you done this with any success?
Have you tried and failed?

Try UNITERM it is a great terminal emulator (VT100/VT200/TEKTRONIX) with
kermit and xmodem/ymodem support built in. UNITERM is a public domin program.

More precisely how can it be obtained in Europe, in Belgium?

I have PC-Minix 1.3 but right now i can't spare the PC. I have an Atari
520 ST, is it possible to upgrade from a PC version of minix to a ST
version? Is there an ftp site that has the upgrade patches?
Thanks.
