                            Ed Part 1 

     A scream.  A plop on the ground.  A dark alley. 
     Ed walked down the street, brandishing his blood stained 
cleaver. 
     A little five year old walked by, gleefully humming the theme 
to Sesame Street.  It was a bright, warm, sunny day.  She was 
happy.  She was fondeling a bracelet her mother had given to her 
for her birthday the day before.  Her golden blonde hair glimmered 
in the bright sun. 
     As Ed walked towards her, she looked up at him.  With one 
felled swoop, the girl's head rolled into the gutter.  Her body 
stood there for a few seconds before falling down with a thud.  
Blood poured from her neck, staining the once white sidewalk a deep 
crimson. 
     Ed was happy.  He turned down an alley humming the theme to 
Sesame Street.  His day was almost complete... But not quite...
