Random Dreamcast Resetting...
A while back I was playing a game on my Dreamcast, and all of a sudden out of no where, the Dreamcast would reset itself, and which it would happen pretty often. If you seem as if your having this problem, I'd suggest you to try this little fix I've found to stop this from happening.
Open up your Dreamcast, your gonna need to unscrew the four screws on the bottom to take the top cover off. Once you do that, take a look at this picture. You're gonna need to unplug the white cord on the top, and unscrew the two screws on the left side, take a look (the white circles are what needs to be unplugged / unscrewed, the black arrow is pointing at a clamp that needs to be move in order to take the power supply out).
Now that you got that done, you'll need to take that whole power supply out, be careful, but you may need to tug it to get it off. Once it's off your ready to fix your resetting problem. Take a look at this picture;
This picture is showing six small little prongs popping out of the Dreamcast (you will also see plastic covering, do not remove this, if you do put it back!). Your gonna need to take your thumb across all six prongs and push forward, towards the back of the Dreamcast, with force but not too much. The idea it to push them forward so that they come in contact better with the power supply and it doesn't short out and reset your Dreamcast. Be sure not to bend them, just enough force you feel is good enough that it will come in better contact.
Trust me, this does work, if it didn't work for you your Dreamcast must have another reason as to why it's resetting itself, but since this is the main reason why Dreamcast do reset themselves, I put this way up first. I will try and find other reasons as to why Dreamcasts do this, and if I found out why, and it's fixable, I will update this page with another solution.
