How to clear the VLC player recent view history on Apple macOS

By doing right-click on the VLC icon in the macOS dock, a menu appears showing a list of the recent video file played. To delete this list, is enough to select File , then Open Recent and finally Clear Menu . The list of the recent played files should not be present anymore.
