... arth-2 real name of Two-Face is Harvey Kent, not Dent. The Justice Society reforms in 1963, after an attack by their old enemy Vandal Savage (_Flash_ #137). Superman helps them battle Aquarius and meets the Superman of Earth-1 in 1969 (_JLA_ #73-74). In 1975, after the death of his wife, Bruce Wayne renounces his Batman career and becomes Police Commissioner of Gotham City (_DC Super-Stars_ #17). In 1976, Superman's cousin Kara comes to Earth and takes the identity of Power Girl just in time to help Robin and the Star-Spangled Kid form the Super-Squad and defeat Brain Wave. ... irst regular-size team-up of two heroes, who have, for some reason, run parallel tracks over the years. They did share a few panels in JUSTICE LEAGUE #137, but the main event was in the tabloid SUPERMAN VS. SHAZAM! How Superman could fight an exclamatory noun, I'm not sure. But he could do anything else, so why not? The inherent goofiness of Captain Marvel stories was peddled right along with the not-quite melodramatic tone that most Superman stories of this era had. SUPERMAN'S GIRL FRIEND, LOIS LANE, began with issue #1 in 1958, and continued through to #137 in 1974, with two annuals (#1 and #2, Summer 1962 and 1963 respectively). His series continued until issue #163, in 1974. The numbering sequence continued in SUPERMAN FAMILY #164, which combined Jimmy Olsen, Lois Lane, and Supergirl into one giant-size comic book as part of DC's Dollar Comics exper ...
