Before I get into the articles this month, I wanted to mention
that the Association for the Study of Dreams is having a
conference in Copenhagen in June and information about this is now
available in several different languages, including
Danske - Deutsch - Español - Finnish - Italiano - - Norsk -
Turkish - Nederlandse - Francaise and Japanese. Stop by the
conference site for more information. http://www.asdreams.org
Here are some of the articles and columns featured this month:
Lucy Gillis shares travels around the dream world to find the most
talented and experimental lucid dreamers. In an excerpt from the
her Lucid Dream Exchange, Linda Magallon presents an excellent
example of the creative power of lucid dreaming with her
spontaneously produced "Past Lives in Poetry."
"Everything in the dream is a part of you," states the very
popular Gestalt theory of dreamwork. Linda Lane Magallón, author
of _Mutual Dreaming_, explores how this technique rolls out on the
dream carpet of everyday dreaming. Be sure to read "Gestalt
Dialogue with the Inner Critic and the Inner Child."
Jean Campbell brings you up to date on the dream activism group,
the World Dreams Peace Bridge and how we can use dreams to bridge
the gap between many different groups and cultures and reach out
to those in pain. Read "A View from the Bridge."
The Waves is a newsletter reporting on the explorations of the Sea
Life community. Sea Life, the main web forum at Dreampeace, aims
to bring together a circle of dreamers from around the globe,
collaborating in mutual dreaming adventures, and 'dreaming with
and for the earth itself'. This month, take a trip around the
ancient Mayan cycle of world ages with Nick Cumbo.
Radostin Pavlov sent in a case for increasing our study of
precognitive dreams. "In addition to the personal satisfaction one
may get from being better prepared for the future, studying the
phenomenon of precognitive dreaming may have other positive
consequences on a more global level, such as finding the answers
to some fundamental questions about our universe and ourselves."
Be sure to read Radostin's paper on Precognitive Dreams.

>> New Book: The Stories of Our Lives
Ed Bonapartian
ebonapar@nycap.rr.com
The Stories Of Our Lives - a story of healing through dreams and
intuition - is a true story that shows the key role dreams and
intuition can play in our emotional healing as it outlines the
emotional struggles of a man coming to terms with his grief over
his mother's early death from alcoholism. Setting the tone with a
series of waking life and dream experiences, the story shows the
conflict that adult children of alcoholics often encounter when
trying to resume a normal life after the alcoholic is no longer
present in their lives. Covering a twenty-year time frame while
using dream images as a background, the story illustrates how
emotional healing is often multi-layered and not as
straightforward as it may seem. mHowever, with dreams often comes
emotional insight. This emotional awareness propels the author
into various situations that slowly lead him to a path of
accepting his past and confronting some of his most painful
memories of life with an alcoholic parent while at the same time
allowing him to teach family and friends to work with their dreams
as well.
While primarily a story about the healing nature of dreams and
dreamwork, the book also touches on subjects such as adult
children of alcoholics, recovery issues and shamanism.
"I liked this book and found it to be a moving Hero's Journey. It
shows us how we can listen to our dreams, as guidance in our
lives. It has much to offer all dreamers. " - Kat Peters Midland

An Excerpt From The Lucid Dream Exchange
By Lucy Gillis
"I was impressed by the creativity that can be released by having
a lucid dream." Linda Lane Magallon
In LDE 30 Linda Magallon presented an excellent example of the
creative power of lucid dreaming with her spontaneously produced
"Past Lives in Poetry."

Past Lives in Poetry

"Make an effort to remember. Or, failing that, invent."
The women in Les Guerilleres
When I first had lucid dreams, there wasn't much written on the
subject. Instead, there was a fair amount of information on the
out-of-body experience. After trying, time after time, to have a
traditional OBE, I had become very frustrated. So I went to the
source: I asked my dreams for guidance. Then I had a lucid dream,
but it only served to confuse me.

Hilary, 9/1/83
At the edge of sleep, in the hypnogogic state, I request guidance.
I see a clown-like face in a magic mirror. It changes to a woman
with dark brown hair who is wearing a cap with a feather. She
seems to be riding inside a coach or carriage lined with silk
material (circa Robin Hood or Three Musketeers). I am drawn into
the scene enough to feel the motion of the coach, bumping over
rocks, at the speed of a horse at full gallop. The sensation is
very vivid. "What is your name?" I ask. There is no response, but
something prompts me to ask her, "Hilary?" I think, good, it's a
male/female name. At this, she laughs soundlessly. I peer closely
at her face and ask her, "Why can't I have an out-of-body
experience?" She pulls the cap down over her face and turns into
a flat oval shape.

I wrote down the dream and sat puzzling over it. Then I was
inspired to put pen to paper. This is one of the few times that a
poem virtually wrote itself. It just gushed out of me, like the
sudden exodus of some long pent-up energy. And, who knows? Maybe
the roots of my dilemma were in the distant past, many lives in
the making. Or maybe I was just making it all up. Either way, I
was impressed by the creativity that can be released by having a
lucid dream.

Heather was once, and Hilary.
Shameless vixens helping themselves to the cosmic stew.
Joyful, never mindful of where or when they came or went.
No.
God, how I envied them. Then, and
Now.
Seven lives we wandered the back country,
Me and my guitar or dulcimer or harp
Or whatever was the instrument in vogue that century,
Ever warning and scolding them for being so fancy free.
And when they'd return from their jaunts to Faraway
And trysts with the local governor or deity
(For they were never ones to carry on with the lower classes)
There I'd be, ready to heal their hearts and bodies,
To nurse their infants and wipe the runny noses of the ragamuffins
later,
After they'd grown a bit.
Faithful ever. Like a dog was I.
Longing to risk but not.
Pouring out my love and frustration on the strings.
Well, now, isn't it time for a change?
So where are the Heathers and Hilarys for me now?
Risk I do.
My own children do I love and care for.
But the music is locked in my heart.
This time. This life.

I can't remember whether or not I'd seen Susan Blackmore's book
"Beyond the Body" when I had my dream. You might be interested to
know that, at the beginning of her first OBE, Blackmore was
listening to music, which put her into an altered state of
consciousness. Then she moved slowly into a scene in which she
was thundering along a road as though in a carriage drawn by
several horses.
So, I suspect that my dreaming self was tapping me on the shoulder
and saying, "A-hem, Linda. Why are you wondering about an out-of-
body experience? You're already having one!"

Dream: Thoughts, Do you Love Me?
stan kulikowski ii [stankuli@etherways.com]
o|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|o
DATE : 6 apr 2004 07:56
DREAM : thoughts, do you love me?
=( yesterday was monday. after my class in the morning, i rode
downtown tothe courthouse. last week i was given a parking ticket
for parking my motorcycle next to a cart rack in the parking lot
of a grocery store. somehow the policeman thought this spot was
'nondesignated' even though there are no markings and my bike fits
just perfectly in the space beside the rack. been parking there
for years where it is protected from automobiles knocking it over,
which has happened fairly often when you have to park between
cars. so i thought i would protest the ticket to a judge since
there are no special markings on the parking spot. well, it takes
me 40 minutes to get to the courthouse, only to find a guard
station with metal detectors and a sign saying "lock your pocket
knife in your car". i had no car, and the guard would not just
keep my pocket knife at her station while i went in to schedule my
court appearance. so i was forbidden access to the courts and had
to ride 40 minutes back home. my knife was not very valuable, but
a friend in new york gave it to me many years ago, and i carry it
everyday so i was reluctant to lose it. i was a little depressed
all day because of the multiple injustice against common sense.
why is the police state is such a mindless and oppressive force
whenever i have to interact with it? i have to pay the $36 fine
and will avoid that grocery store evermore. i spent the evening
processing student assignments in multimedia and got to bed around
01:00, but could not sleep until after 03:00. )=
i am in the apartment of a friend who i have not seen in many
years, marty maceda. he has given me a small but thick journal,
made of dry, slightly yellow, nonglossy pulp paper. he has it
open to a piece of creative fiction that he has written. i start
to read.
the quality of the print is not very polished, the font used
giving the page the feel of a typewritten manuscript, but i can
tell that is a designer effect deliberately achieved. marty's
story is about a southern woman who is remembering her courtship
and marriage back in the middle of the last century. the 1950s
were a positive time of hope and accomplishment, so different from
what we have today.
after a bit of reading by myself, i notice a typo, just a
transposed character pair, but it bothers me. i pull my laptop
out of my school bag and start to quickly type in his text, but
correcting the error. as i continue to read. a few more errors
crop up, and i fix them too. i want to have a complete and
accurate copy of his otherwise delightful article.
one change in my laptop copy does bother me though. the heroine
says something like, 'but, you would come to see me' which just
does not ring true to the woman's southern nature. i change the
line to read, 'but, yall'd come to see me'. this alteration
disturbs me because it is neither a typo nor mispelling, but
different words, an odd contraction at that. i show this to marty
and he is obviously not happy with what i have done. "look," i
tell him. "when i am finished you see the changes and i will put
back any you do not care for."
unsettled by our disagreement in terms, i stop the typing and look
closely at the paperback cover of the journal for the first time.
the title is 'thoughts' and it has a monochrome yellow-black print
of a woman slightly dressed in underwear and nylons. she is about
to scream in terror of something approaching from our perspective.
a typical pulp fiction image from the 1950s. the names of several
well known authors are superimposed. it is the kind of magazine
that charles bukowski would have published in.
i thank marty for letting read his piece, but i can not think of
anything intelligent to comment. usually it takes me a while to
subconsciously digest art before i can understand it well enough
to contribute something. i am impressed at his creative output and
wonder if someday i might be able to communicate in media like
this.
i leave marty's little house on the edge of a small urban area and
i walk into the downtown area. the area is not quite a city, but
has dense, rundown feeling to it. the alleys between the streets
are cluttered with refuse and discarded cardboard. some dirty
street boys come up to me, trying to panhandle spare change, but
they know me well enough that i can say no.
soon, susan comes up to join me and i am glad to see her.
"whatcha been doing?" she asks me.
"i stopped by my friend's house. marty. you have not met him
yet. he lives over on the other side with his wife, denny." she
does not comment, but takes my hand as we go into the rear entry
of a building just off the alley.
we go up stairways to the top floor, three flights up, then out
onto the roof. up here the air is a little fresher. the roof has
various machines discarded haphazard from factories and assembly
lines. on the edge of the building there is a really tall metal
box which extends upward. it looks something like the trailer of
a semitruck without the wheels, but it has some heavy construction
seams in the middle which indicate some mechanical purpose that i
cannot fathom. i get a small rush of vertigo looking up at it.
somehow i think that we are to climb this precarious contraption.
before susan and i can go over to it closer, there is a loud crack
when most of the box detaches from its vertical face which is
nearest to us and folds over like it is falling into the alley
below. we hurry over to edge and look down. in the space between
here and the ground, the box is unfolding on various hinges and
seams, so it pivots back and forth rather like a robotic reptile.
there seems to be a man controlling it with a remote control
across the way.
susan lets go of my hand and steps up on the short ledge just away
from me. this frightens me that she is so close to base of this
apparatus which is jerking left and right just below us.
sure enough, the ledge she is standing on tilts and she falls over
into the side. i lunge forward trying to grab her, but i am to
late. she is gone.
looking down, i can see that the snaking machinery has come back
under her fall, and a cuff on her pants leg catches on the side of
the monstrous device, saving her from the fall to the pavement.
she is shaking like a limp rag doll on the neck of the machine.
i yell to the man controlling the device across the way and run
back to the door to get down as quickly as i can. i jump down
whole flights of stairs. bursting out upon the alley way, i see
that the operator has lowered the head of the machinery gently
down the pavement.
i can just reach susan who is returning to conscious awareness. i
grab her shoulders and push up to relax her weight hanging there.
the operator of the device has now joined us. he tries to unhook
her pants leg from the snag on metal, but it will not come free.
i give him my pocket knife. he puts a slice in her cuff and she
falls into my arms.
i put her carefully on her feet and i drop to my knees as she
stands there. i pull her to me and hold her. we are both
trembling and i can not hold back crying any longer. i thought
that i had lost her forever. the huge machine whines and groans
as the operator guides it back up to its base on the roof above.
when i can control myself better, she takes my hand a leads me
away to the apartment which is not too far away from here. not
speaking, she takes me over to the large sofa by the window.
there we lay in each other's arms, grateful for the closeness.
susan reaches over to press the play button on a VCR. a video
starts to play which shows the lean body of a man from the
shoulders down. he is dressed in gray tee shirt and undershorts.
his legs are lean and hairless like he shaved them. he pulls a
heavy gray cotton sock on his left foot but has trouble getting
the right one on. i feel a little frustrated watching him
struggle with the second sock. once he gets both socks straight,
the loud rock music starts:
"DO YOU LOVE ME? do you love me? DO YOU LOVE ME? now, now that i
can dance, Dance, DANCE. watch me now, hey..." susan and i begin
to squirm and dance against each other with the music. when the
parts 'do the mashed potatoes', 'do the pony', and 'do the twist'
we gyrate in the proper motions. of course, the passion rises in
us both. and she arches her body backwards into me. i squeeze her
tight, so thankful that we are together at last. she moans and
trembles in delight.
it takes a while for the tape to end. i believe the first song
segues into a medley of classic rock love songs. it seems to go
on and on, but when it stops at last, we are both covered with
sweat, still fully dressed. susan looks at me, smiling and
exhausted. "constant orgasm" she says softly as she drifts off
to sleep in my arms. i had not, but that does not matter to me as
i hold her there, hoping this is forever.
=( awake at 07:30. i try to go back to sleep, wanting to keep
this dream the way it is. man, do i hate waking up into the world
which is so empty after an experience like that. marty maceda was
a fine arts MFA student i knew in amherst. he was a talented
cartoonist, but i am not surprised if he tried short stories.
comic panel art is as much about telling the stories as it is
about drawing. i lived with susan in massachusetts, but we broke
up before i lived in amherst. i do not remember our relationship
being as tender or intimate as this dream. perhaps i seem to be
trying to reconcile my loss of her, even after thirty years. )=

A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE April 2004
My Mother Died in Hiroshima
Jean Campbell
o|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|o
During the month of April, while members of the World Dreams Peace
Bridge watched in horror at the deaths of hundreds of people in
fighting in Fallujah, Iraq, a very interesting conversation sprang
up on the Bridge, having to do with not the current war but with
World War Two. Because of the depth of this conversation, I would
like to share it with you.
I believe it demonstrates the value of people around the world
dreaming together and talking together.
The original post came from Jeremy in Korea, and contained the
riveting title, "My Mother Died in Hiroshima." Here is what he
said:
Dear Dream Family,
My father was Manager for the Budget for the Atomic Energy
Commission in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, so my family lived there after
WWII from the late 40's through 51. Laboratories there processed
nuclear fuels for atomic bomb research and production. My mother
contracted Breast Cancer at the age of 33 and died at 34. The last
year of her life I wasn't able to see her because she was in
hospital in New York and my father was bound to stay in Oak Ridge
because of the Korean War. I was 4 when she left me and 5 when she
died. Only now, searching the web on a whim did I realize the
possibility that she might have been exposed to radiation in Oak
Ridge, maybe on a tour of facilities with a friend, and so died
just as many died in Hiroshima. Here are the extracts from Oak
Ridge Radiation:
Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Tennessee. All cancer mortality was
found to have a positive correlation with radiation exposure and
indicates that sensitivity to radiation-induced cancer increases
with older ages at exposure. (Study No. 5) A second and earlier
study found a low overall death rate when compared with the
general public , which is consistent with a "healthy worker
effect." However the authors also found an increased risk of
dying from all cancers is 10 times greater than extrapolations
from high dose studies of Japanese A-bomb survivors. ( Study No.
6) A third study found that adjustment for date of hire,
employment duration, exposure to beryllium, lead and mercury had
little effect on radiation risk estimates. ( Study No. 7) ·
Oak Ridge Y-12 weapons Plant, Tennessee. Total mortality was low
as expected for this group indicating a "healthy worker effect."
The study also found elevated death rates for brain cancer,
several lymphopoetic (immune system) cancers, prostate, kidney and
pancreas. Excess death from breast cancer among women was found.
The authors found excess lung cancer as their main finding and
urged that this disease warrants continued surveillance. (Study
No. 8) An earlier study found similar risks, with a marginal dose-
response trend for lung cancer only. (study No.9)
She named me Fred, Peace, and it is no accident that I have become
a peace worker. Yes, my mother died in Hiroshima.
Love,
Jeremy
Because there are people from many countries who participate in
the World Dreams discussion group, I was curious to see what the
responses would be. The next post came from Kotaro in Japan:
Dear Jeremy,
I cannot find any words. Your mother had to leave you at so young
age. She is/was another Hibakusha, right?
Depleted Uranium bombs are making other small Hiroshimas in
Iraq....sorry, I cannot continue writing.
Warm wishes and hopes,
Kotaro
Kotaro also created a beautiful mandala to express his feelings,
saying: "Hibakusha means the atomic bomb victim or survivor of
atom-bombing.
And...as I have no word to express my sadness, I made a mandala
according to my feelings reminding of you and your parents."
From Germany, Ralf wrote:
Dear Jeremy!
I hope I didn't hurt your feelings with my dream posting. Maybe I
did with my comment on what synchronicities I'm seeing. Please
excuse me, Jeremy! Of course your mother didn't throw a bomb. I
guess you are right to suspect, she may have suffered from
radiation of facilities.
What I want to point out is the sad fact - we often forget - that
all the suffering we cause, in a way comes back to us.
It is sad, that depleted uranium is used for bullets meant to kill
the enemies in Iraq. But now we know, this deed returned effect to
those who fired the bullets. Largely unaware of the contaminated
load, they were bringing to the land and people there. All this
suffering has been caused - as some politicians say - for me too,
for a free and democratic world. I sometimes feel, like I press
the button... like in my dream.
It is then of course cynical and cruel on top of that to not
inform the soldiers of the danger. Those, who knew it (the
politicians, weapon producers, atomic industry) didn't suffer from
radiation, seemingly. A cruel and hidden game of greed and power.
That needs to be unveiled of course. I'm tired now, but can't
sleep. Did get up in the middle of the night and check mailbox.
Sometimes it is simply too much to get rest and find peaceful
sleep and dreams. Sometimes I feel like finding all the battles
of the globe in my little everyday life, too. Small
misunderstandings leading to great struggles, but there are also
peaceful and healing situations.
Keep on your good peace work, Jeremy! This night is meant for
rainbows and candles, I'll give it another try.
Ralf
To which Jeremy replied:
Dear Ralf,
I must've been writing my reply the same second you we sending
your 2nd post. No, don't worry, you didn't hurt my feelings at
all. In fact, I appreciated your dream and your concern. It's true
what you say about depleted uranium, and it is a crime not to
inform or protect the soldiers to deliver it to - its a crime to
use it at all. The poor civilians, especially who pick it up in
the desert not knowing what it is - even children, and of course
the children born of contaminated parents.
And you are near to Cherno ... and the fear and reality of
contaminated crops and streams.
I thank you for your warm and heart-felt concern.
Jeremy
Clearly Jeremy's post had struck deeply into the hearts of many
people on the Bridge. And then came this post from Diana in
Washington state:
I'm so sorry, Jeremy for your loss. I don't understand the
shortsightedness of actions taken throughout recent history. It
might be a bomb, it might be a drug, it might be an environmental
displacement or introduction of a creation. It might just be my
opinion, but why don't people ask themselves, "What happens
tomorrow?" It's not just war, so many things would not be a
crisis today or I'm quite sure tomorrow, if people chose to
recognize facts that they themselves already know. It must be
greed in many cases.
The reason I say recent history, is because we have the ability to
devastate in a major way. I suppose the ability to devastate
through introduction of species in an unprepared biosystem isn't
new, though. (rambling)
My mother was a child in Japan at the time of the bombings not so
far from Nagasaki. She had already been an orphan for awhile
before the war started, but still had a home. It burned to the
ground, and she told me how she ran back into the house to save a
funeral shrine house. Her brother disappeared and she didn't know
he was alive until about 1985 or so. She's actually never seen
him since somewhere in the 1940's. He's still alive, in Tokyo.
He thinks of her as a little girl, and sends her small toys
sometimes. She's told me a few things that were so very sad.
People dying in the streets, and crying out for help, and you have
to walk on. I think I've only asked her twice to talk about it in
my whole life. Not a nice place to go. When I was in high
school, they played some footage from documentary films some
night, an extra-curricular activity, that graphically showed and
described how victims died.
A friend had sent a thought provoking site a month ago, a
pictorial ride through Chernobyl
http://www.angelfire.com/extreme4/kiddofspeed/
I totally understand why my mother is the way she is. It's the
way she had to be. What bothers me is when people forget the
individuals who are called to serve in a war. What does it do?
Creates or confirms some society boundary. It's confusing
because some boundaries are necessary. What can be done to stop
terrorists or at least quarantine them to a point that they can't
organize? What can be done, so that people realize the extent of
many lives lost to achieve an end? The thing is, there are
probably few that are so absolved to create this tragedy, but why
must so many die to achieve the vision of an errant focus of some
terrorist. Why do people follow ideals that don't include all?
What can be done to change that, so that irregardless of belief,
need, want, self, all work together toward goals that are best for
the all?
I know I'm confusing, because I talk about individuals and all,
but each is a part of all. I really think most people want peace.
How do you stop icons or charismatic types that don't? Education.
Sad it won't happen overnight. It needs to start everywhere at
once. Here too.
DT
By the time I finished reading Diana's post, it was clear to me
that I wanted to share this profound conversation with the broader
dream community. I sent a message to the group asking for
permission use what was being said in this View from the Bridge,
pointing out how unusual it was to find a place where people from
the US, German and Japan could share such feelings. Immediately
Kathy responded from Australia:
Jean - I've only seen your email because I saw Kotaro's reply!
BUT the combination is even more amazing: we also have Americans
whose "parents" fought and bombed the Japanese, just as we have
Kotaro; we also have Australians who fought the Japanese and the
Germans and the Turkish!!! (our day of military celebration is
ANZAC Day - we celebrate a huge DEFEAT of us by Turkish soldiers
when we "landed", really invaded Turkey during World War 1. And
the reason so many were killed was because of either British
bungling or more likely British 'strategic' planning in which
colonial troops were easily sacrificed for british opps sorry!!
the greater good! I suppose we also have someone from
England???
We are a wonderful dream body of peace!
kathy
And then came the response from Ilkin in Turkey:
Don't worry, we are celebrating Ancak day too (with many wisitors
from Australia, grandchildren of the soldiers etc). My grandmother
used to tell us those days she lived in the middle of the war (the
occupation troops made their house headquarters) and she always
told about Australians in a good way. Love- ilkin
Ilkin also sent a post in which she said to Jeremy:
Jeremy, yesterday I happened to see the opening of an exhibition
at an old Jewish help house (which I made a part of the interview
I showed you about the sinking Jewish boats at the Bosphorus
during 2nd WW). They said that it is for the anniversary of
holocoust, from a concentration camp near Prag. There were photos
of the children too. What I learned is, it was a (I can't remember
the name) special concentration camp with painting etc activities
where they sent four thousand children and only 4 (or may be 2)
could get out alive. The paintings were from 1942- 1943 (some 40-
50 of more than 6.000 they found). It was interesting that there
was not so much violence or war in the paintings (may be it was
the begining period). I walked around and look at the paintings,
thinking of you. I think, I understand the importance of "Peace
Train" once more.
Love to you all - ilkin
Kathy got another response from May, who lives now in San
Francisco:
Hey, Kathy and all, don't forget the Chinese when we talk about
Hiroshima. I grew up in World War II, remember the fear and hatred
we had for the Japanese. Though my family was fortunate enough to
move to the save region the Japanese were pushing closer and
closer. That kind of fear and panic, feeling your back is against
the wall with no more ground to retreat. I think you were all too
young to experience that war. We CELEBRATED when the bombs were
dropped and Japan surrendered.
Yes, Kathy, we do make a good peace group. "Peace" maybe just a
concept unless someone has lived through terror. I admire Chayim
for that reason.
Let us continue our peace work in as an honest way as we can and
encourage each other. May
Followed immediately by a second post:
Dear Bridge folks, my last mail about my own experience of fear
at the end of W.W.II, and how I may relate to the concept of
"peace" needs to be corrected. The way it was sounded like as if
only those who had gone through fear would truly embrace peace.
This is definitely NOT true!
I have never thought of this before until now: how do personal
experiences with fear affect how each person understands/relates
to "PEACE".
Time for bed and I'm not thinking clearly so here is wishing you
wise dreams, May
In some very deep ways, the entire group was struggling to
comprehend the enormity of violence, the kinds of feelings that
could lead for example to a photograph in a recent issue of
Newsweek which shows a smiling Iraqi boy, maybe two years of age,
holding the rifle one of the smiling men seated around the room
has given him to play with.
Kotaro responded to May's post with the following answer:
Dear May,
I never forget China and those people who suffered and murdered by
Japanese, I dare not use the word Japanese army because I know in
those days during World War 2 most of the Japanese were in
superior complex to other Asian countries, Corea, China, Taiwan,
Indonesia, and so on. There is no 'if' in the history but I think
I would be certainly one of them if I was born in those years, I
would try to be a good soldier for Hirohito and God blessed
country. This imagination always terrified me.
I don't want to use the concept of generations here, but just wish
to say what I was thinking in a small park of Nagasaki was beyond
the countries. I wrote ' everything has changed in that summer
1954' which means nuclear weapons are not just extended weapons,
they come to have another dimension for mankind. And yet I do not
neglect any kind of victims of that War.
In 1960's I could watch the TV program of World War 2 that was
made of full color film documentary which were took by Moupack,
the American Navy's Film crews. Most of the film was on pacific
war, including Kamikaze attacks. I come to hate to be being a
human when I watch that program. I saw many Zero fighters attacked
U.S. Navy's Gun ships. I didn't just feel compassion with the
pilots on Kamikaze, but I was imagining those soldiers on the
bridge and their lovers, parents, kids, and the very cameraman who
was taking those scenes. Being a human has a possibilities to be
an invaders for other people and simultaneously to be a victim.
And also I tried not to miss any chance to see or read on Japanese
invasion. Through this my experience at least I could know what
kind of actions could be done when I lose wide and high point of
view.
When I was high school boy in 1969-71, a song was popular among
young people. The title is 'the children who don't know the War'.
I did hate this song. I was crying out in my mind 'You don't know
the war? You just don't try to know the war!'
In 1970, Chinese government announced ' we will forgive, but never
forget.' to prime minister Eisaku Tanaka. I felt a kind of
uneasiness reading this expression on paper. If we remain on this
level forever, China will be accused by Tibetan people someday and
announced by same words, and Japan could say to U.S. A. the same
words for Atomic Bombs and at once Japan would be denounced by
most of Asian countries and winners countries of WW2.
It seems unceasing.
But the war is unceasing on this planet. Yes, I've used the word
'planet', not the earth. This notion is not so strange today
because of development for searching universe and global
communications through internet just like we are doing here.
Not to escape from watching the bloody and sad things are
happening now and at same time to have...what shall I say,
...cosmic sense will be much more and more important when we wish
for the peace.
Much love to you,
Kotaro
To this, May replied:
Dearest Kotaro: Here we are, a Japanese and a Chinese, with
genuine affection for each other. As a matter of fact, dear
friend, you, alone, have made more basic differences in my
feelings toward the Japanese than any other single factor. I have
felt close to you, respected you since the beginning. Your little
flowers (photos that Kotaro has been sending) are the new stars in
our Planet. Your mail today demonstrated the qualities in you that
I cherished...
And after answering Kotaro's mail point-by-point, May concluded:
Exactly. How do we promote peace? By posts like these on the
Bridge. Right, everybody? None of our hands are totally without
blood.
This month the Peace Bridge Aid for Traumatized Children Project
sent money for a third shipment of therapeutic toys to Baghdad.

PRECOGNITIVE DREAMS
Radostin Pavlov
o|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|o
Since ancient times the belief that dreams are either warnings or
prophecies has been very common. This idea has been supported
mainly by oral tradition and some books like the Artemidorus'
Oneirocritica written about 140 AD, but causing great impact right
up to XIX century.[1]
In more recent times, the concept of dreams telling the future has
been greatly suppressed. Partly, this has occurred under the
influence of Christian church, which has censured any kind of non-
biblical prophecy. On the other hand, conservative scientific
thinking has also rejected prophetic or precognitive dreams,
probably due to the lack of sufficiently strong proofs for their
existence or a scientific hypothesis to explain them. Thus, dreams
which in the past could easily be labeled "precognitive", now are
often thought of as mere coincidences or stories invented by
people wishing to attract more attention.
Sigmund Freud, himself, founder of a new era in dream analysis,
knew about the existence of such dreams, but avoided speaking
about them, and explained most dreams as messages from the
subconscious mind resulting from sexual desire and traumatic
experiences.
Currently, most dream scientists seam to believe that dreams
express mainly emotional states (e. g. fear, panic, anxiety,
desire) and primary instincts and most investigation is dedicated
to elucidate brain mechanisms originating dreams as a consequence
of emotions and experiences.
Thus, there are hardly any studies on precognitive dreaming.
However, one name, which is worth a mention, is J. W. Dunne, who
suggested that the probability that precognitive dreams are mere
coincidences with reality is negligible and that they must be a
result of time distortion. [2]
Another important dream scientist of our times, Cencillo,
expresses a similar idea and adds that there must be a reasonable
explanation in modern physics, adducing the basic conclusion of
relativistic theory that time and space are interrelated and can
be "curved". He also argues that human brain processes
simultaneously past, present and future events to represent them
in a symbolic fused form as dreams intended to alert or make us
conscious about things otherwise difficult to perceive.
It should be pointed out that there seems to be certain trend of
revival of the interest in precognitive dreams. This trend is
greatly enhanced by the extraordinary features of Internet, such
as web forums, articles online, chat, galleries, etc. Based on
dream communications made in web chat and forums, Wilkerson
reported that a large number of people had precognitive dreams
about the 11-s terrorist attack.[4]
Many people question the usefulness of precognitive dream
interpretation although actually they do not reject the proper
existence of such dreams. A common argument is that what is going
to happen will happen and future cannot be changed. Nobody knows
for sure if this is true or false, but what is sure is that there
are dreams that warn or prepare us for the future rather than tell
it and it can be really useful to understand their messages. Such
dreams can have as a subject almost anything, for example,
illnesses, death, political events, financial acquisitions or
losses, job changes or problems, making or losing friends or
dates, frustration or satisfaction of any origin...
In addition to the personal satisfaction one may get from being
better prepared for the future, studying the phenomenon of
precognitive dreaming may have other positive consequences on a
more global level, such as finding the answers to some fundamental
questions about our universe and ourselves.
Creating web forums specialized in precognitive dream analysis
could be the perfect way to promote and perform such studies.

Solar Waves: Dreaming Our Way to 2012

The Waves is a newsletter reporting on the explorations of the Sea
Life community. Sea Life, the main web forum at Dreampeace, aims
to bring together a circle of dreamers from around the globe,
collaborating in mutual dreaming adventures, and 'dreaming with
and for the earth itself'.

During the Solar Moon, we immersed ourselves in Dreaming Our Way
to 2012. The ancient Maya were aware of a vast 26,000-year
astrological cycle we call the Precession of the Equinoxes.
Composed of five successive world ages, this grand cycle of
evolution was believed to culminate on December 21st 2012, a date
associated with what John Major Jenkins terms galactic alignment,
"an extremely rare alignment of the solstice sun with the galactic
centre" (Maya Cosmogenesis 2012). "According to the Maya, the
'future', which lies beyond this end date, is literally 'a new
world' 'a new creation".
http://www.diagnosis2012.co.uk/
http://www.13moon.com/
Last year, in an absolutely life-changing conscious dream journey
to the year 2012, I discovered I was one of a team of architects
leading the development of a platform for personal and planetary
evolution, known by the name of Sea Life. This month, the dreamers
at Sea Life once again stepped through the time warp, returning
with greater understanding of a deeper order of reality, and with
great vision for our future.
The ancient Maya kept track of many different cycles of time, "to
map and structure various aspects of human experience". The
Tzolkin was the 260-day cycle based upon the period of human
gestation, and was formed from the interweaving rhythms of what we
can call the '20 solar tribes' and '13 galactic tones', seen to be
reflected in the body by our 13 major joints and 20 fingers and
toes.
Jose Arguelles interpreted the mathematical codes of the Ancient
Maya, and determined that the 13:20 frequency was the basis of the
fourth-dimensional radial order of time, responsible for
"governing and shaping all third-dimensional phenomena". The
importance of attuning to this natural timing frequency was made
more than evident, through the way in which it permeated through
the dreaming of the people at Sea Life.
THE SUBWAY OF THE FOURTH DIMENSION
In my dream, I found my dad offering me a jacket of rather unusual
navy-green appearance, one I felt a little nervous about wearing
out in public. However when I saw the clear white writing along
the front pocket, reading "The Subway of the Fourth Dimension", I
decided this thing was simply too cool to let go of. As the dream
ended, I learnt that the jacket was sponsored by Peter Jackson.
In his book, Dreaming True, Robert Moss speaks of how he was led
in dreams to The Underground Railroad of Dreams, the story of a
black slave named Harriet Tubman. "I was fascinated to learn that
she dreamed of flying to freedom, over landscapes she subsequently
crossed on foot. Later she was guided by specific precognitive or
clairvoyant dreams to safe houses, river crossings and friendly
helpers she had never encountered in waking reality. In this way,
she escorted 300 escaping slaves to freedom, without ever losing
one of her "packages"
What a powerful example of how we can
"dream our dream" in entirely practical ways!"
http://www.mossdreams.com/undergro.htm
Just as 'The Underground Railroad of Dreams' illustrated the value
of dreaming through the lens of Harriet Tubman's personal story,
it later became clear that 'The Subway of the Fourth Dimension'
was to demonstrate the value of our emerging understanding of the
fourth dimensional nature of time, through the sponsorship of
Peter Jackson, and the story of the Lord of the Rings.
PETER JACKSON AND LORD OF THE RINGS
In an excellent article entitled "Tolkien at the End of Time:
Alchemical Secrets of the Lord of the Rings", the authors draw a
magnificent parallel between the story of Frodo, "the modest,
sincere and good natured hobbit of the shire embarking on a quest
to destroy the ill-omened Ring of Power", and the challenges
humanity is facing right now.
http://www.sacredmysteries.com/JayTolkien1.htm
The Ring, forged by Sauron in the depths of Mount Doom, is a
symbol of power and domination, a force most difficult to resist.
Saramon, the leader of Gandalf's order of wizards quickly falls
prey to the temptation, the orcs acting as conduits for his plans,
machines in the game of war. Through the efforts of Gandalf the
Wizard, Frodo awakens to the sinister consequences of the rings
misuse. It is only through the assistance of his friend Sam, and
his courage and determination that Frodo can succeed in his quest.
"The destruction of the Ring of Power appears to have unintended
consequences that bring forth what Tolkien describes as the end of
the Third Age of Middle Earth. At the conclusion of this
compelling story of good and evil, heroes and villains, magic and
mystery, all of the fantastic inhabitants of Middle-earth,
Wizards, Elves, Dwarves, and Ents disappear from the landscape of
Middle-earth leaving the next Age, the Fourth Age to be ruled by
Men" (Tolkien at the End of Time).
Tolkien sees time not from a linear viewpoint, but as recurring
cycles or Ages of Middle-Earth. Ultimately at the end of each Age
of Middle-Earth, there is "a bid for ultimate power for by the
forces of evil
the opposing forces pitting themselves against
each other and a great battle ensuing between them".
Viewed from a fourth-dimensional perspective of time, Peter
Jackson's release of the Lord of the Rings in 2001, 2002, and 2003
is thus no coincidence! The 26,000-year cycle seen by the Maya to
reflect our "collective unfolding as a species" was composed of
five successive World Ages, each of 5,125 years. As in the Lord of
the Rings, we are coming to the end of an age right now.
Vega reported "a dream in which a person, maybe Tolkien, featured.
"In the dream, I associated the events fantasy vs. anti-fantasy-
agents to this 2012-dreaming-project." Surely this bears
similarities to the materialism running rife amongst the people of
our planet. Empty of spirituality many have lost sense of our
connection with the land, and have forgotten why we are here.
Natural resources are exploited, and corporations vie for ever-
greater profit margins, regardless of the consequences. The ring
is a very real consideration, and it serves self-interest, greed
and control.
However, not all is doom and gloom. The message of the Lord of the
Rings, is essentially a reminder of the inherent power available
to each of us. Frodo sets us off into the darkness of Mt Doom, and
against all the odds, including the thousands of orcs hunting him
down, still manages to triumph!
The fourth dimensional perspective urges us to see time as art,
not money, a viewpoint echoed by Tolkien himself, in his
description of the magic of the elves, " its object is Art not
Power, sub-creation, not domination and tyrannous re-forming of
Creation." This is what we are here for, and it is up to us to
take our place once again as equals in the process of creation.
In a dream, 'ypm' found himself working in his standard office,
only with one small difference. Apparently, he was being employed
by Peter Jackson (the director of Lord of the Rings). Peter was
handing out gifts for a job well done! It was only through the
magical coming together of these three dreams by myself, Vega and
YPM, that we were able to latch onto the true meaning of the Peter
Jackson connection. YPM's dream appears to set the stage for a
brighter future for humanity, a vision which Peter Jackson, I'm
sure, would be proud to direct.
DREAMWEAVING OUR WAY TO 2012
Finally, I would like to share some experiences of the dreamers at
Sea Life, who successfully managed to travel to 2012 in conscious
dreams. In dreams, I have been guided to start a not-for-profit
organisation known as the "Sea Life Star Foundation", as a way of
promoting knowledge regarding the application of active dreaming
practices and the 13 moon calendar, as a way of restoring harmony
to our planet, and exploring our evolutionary potential. In dreams
I learnt that my friend Ron (Sunwolf) was to become the other
'head' of the Star Foundation. Ron set out on a journey to 2012,
to learn more about the future of the foundation.
------------------------------------------------------------------
----
2012 Fund Raiser
For the longest part of the night I dreamed about traveling down
the road. I must have had 2 dreams of just road journey. Then I
remembered something Astral Mass said in Way of the Wind dream
Team, I used the road to change the direction of my dream. I
requested the road take me into the future, 2012.
Now I was in a future school. We were preparing for a fund raiser
for a Global event for 2012. I was interviewing 2 young girls
about helping out. I asked them if they know their Galactic
Signatures. They said no, so I went online to figure them out. On
the computer I punched up their Solar Seals. One girl was Red
Lunar Moon and the other was Red Resonant Earth. They were excited
to get them.
Then I gave them a tour of our facilities. We were in the arts and
crafts section. I showed them how to put a chicken in an egg, and
pack it with ice. It was very detailed, I used a laser to open a
boiled eggshell, and with the laser I cut the opening in the egg
to remove the yoke part and place the small cooked chicken inside
it. Then I put it back together. The laser had a reverse mode that
sealed the egg, then we packed it in ice and stored it for the
festivities.
Later in the dream the event was going on. A fun festival! One
older woman was speaking to Nick, over at a recruiting table. She
said she supported what we were doing and wanted to give the
foundation 50 million dollars. She had arthritis in her hands and
requested Nick write the check. Nick was hesitating cause he
wasn't sure he could accept the check, whether it would bounce or
if he could write it. (I read his mind) So I went over and offered
to assist. I took the check and wrote what she said, as she said
her name outloud, it was Norma, something. Nehaus was the last
name, I think. I looked at the check as I filled in the 50 million
and gave it to her to sign. Nick and I were both thinking of all
the things we could do with the money.
Later I watched a contest were this other woman found the chicken
in the egg and won. They were making lemonade. Ok. Seemed the
future was a little different, lasers and fund raisers. Funny they
still used money and that it was American money in the dream, but
that could have been cause I am American.
Red Lunar Moon and Red Resonant Earth were interesting glyphs to
get. I think this is the first time I dreamed about the Mayan
Dreamspell too. Also I found the reading of the minds interesting.
Not everyone could do it, seemed this was one thing we were
teaching at the foundation.
I couldn't figure out what lemonade had to do with boiled eggs.
Events organizing is something I have done in real life.
------------------------------------------------------------------
----
Quite a remarkable dream! I must admit I couldn't help wondering
what one might do with so much money. I guess we'd have to dream
on it! Regardless of things like money, the dream certainly gave
us faith that our vision was one that could manifest.
Finally, Pasquale, the creator of the wonderful LD4ALL forum,
shared a similarly inspiring experience.
http://forum.ld4all.com/

----
Dreamweaver 2012
I remember my intention to go to 2012. I return to the bedroom I
went to sleep in and intend T. (one of my guides) to appear behind
a door (before going to sleep I had decided I would ask him to
guide me to 2012). Nope, nobody there, it is a dark bathroom.
A little girl who already was in the room wants to come with me.
She looks like M, a girl I know from my childhood and she looks
just like I remember her. She says: "I know the way". I realize i
can go as well with her and follow her.
We come to a room with 2 people. I ask what year it is. 1998. I
say oh too early. Again we walk through the house. We come in the
same room with the same people. I ask what year it is. 2008.
Almost there.
Then i'm without the girl outside a house. It is night, black sky
with stars. I go inside. 2 elderly ppl sit at a table. I ask what
year it is. "You are just in time, it is almost new years eve and
2012 is almost over."
I ask about the world, has something shocking happened, maybe you
know about the prophecies? "Yeah we know about that, it was all on
TV but nothing has happened". "OK" I say, "dan weten we dat ook
weer" (sorry hard to translate this dutch expression, literally:
then we know that also again")
I ask if she has internet access on her computer. Yeah, go ahead.
But she has a very old monitor, it is one of those which can only
display green pixels. I say: 'no that will not do, ld4all is in
color it won't show on this one'! he takes some books and will do
something to fix that?
Then i see on the table a book by Barbara Brennan called
DREAMWEAVER (IRL she is a healer and I'm reading 2 books of her at
the moment. The book I see is the same format as the books I'm
reading now). The title is in white on an intense dark-blue,
purple background.
The subtitle (also white) reads "how to employ and harness the
power of the eternal moment of the NOW" (something like that, i
cannot remember the actual words.) I say how cool is that, she is
going to write a book about dreams! I open it and read a little.
It is about how to employ the eternal moment of the NOW, has to do
with being in the NOW moment, it also has to do with dreaming
somehow
------------------------------------------------------------------
----
Obviously Pasquales dream speaks rather beautifully itself. From a
personal perspective, I was also reminded of my own dreams in
which I'd found myself reading the work of
Robert Moss (the
author), which I know now to be my dreams way of suggesting
innovative and exciting lines of research and writing to be done
myself. I couldn't help wondering if perhaps this book might be
something Pasquale would write herself. For one who has shared so
much within the dreaming community, I wouldn't be at all
surprised.
Significantly, for all of us, it reminds us like the Mayan elder
Carlos Barrios, that the changes triggered by 2012, are not like
switching a light on or off, that this is actually a gradual
process. Ultimately, like the various divisions and peoples of
Middle Earth, our strength is in unity. In the words of a
respected Mam Elder, "there is hope if the people of the light can
come together and unite in some way." Our dreams would be a great
place to begin.

Subject: Strange dreams
I am not religious at all and so was surprised by two recent dreams. The first involved my going to
a hospital (I do work in one) and searching for a restroom. This was not the hospital I work in, it
was old, dirty, almost archiac. As I searched, I saw a doctor I work for, looking at me with
contempt (he and I are on excellent terms, in reality). I came into a room set up almost like those
military field hospitals, with a rot of cots and military blankets. All but the last cot were neatly
made up. On the last cot was a bunch of blood with an IV pole and bag hanging down. I looked at
the floor and saw bloody footprints and turned to follow them, in back of me (not there before) was
a man, long hair/beard standing, with blood on his head and hands. He said to me, "Are you leaving
me?" I realize the similarity of this figure to the crucified Christ. I ran and bumped into the doctor
mentioned before, he gave me the same disappointed look. I continued to run and ran into a room
with a deep hole in the floor, overlayed by porcelain. I hid in it, however, my husband found me
and pulled me out. I was suddenly pregnant (I am not in reality) and very, very afraid, I had wanted
to hide from my husband.
Anyone have any ideas as to what this could mean? Again, I follow no religion and actually do not
fully believe in God, so this is really puzzling to me.

Subject: Ren's Dream Number 749
Hi Ren,
I had a few thoughts on your dreams. I think that basically you may be denying something in
yourself. Perhaps you have let a dream of yours slip away with time and have not let yourself
pursue it. You may be telling yourself now is the time. Your mind took strong authoritative
symbols to let you know you may not be content with this. The respected doctor you work with,
and the Christ figure. The dusty and dirty hospital suggests a place you may not have visited a long
time. The Christ figure says why have you left me? (Could your inner guidance find a stronger
symbol?) The bloody footprints of someone running away, hiding from yourself. And then you hide
and don't want to be found. Finally the baby inside you, may be your inner child saying it needs
love, care and attention. This part of yourself inside may be 'hiding'. Sounds like you may be
fearful of letting this inner child out through these unexplored dreams or ideas. I bet there may be a
lot of growth if you can let them out though. With your husband, he may be the one you need to
share with first, after yourself of course. Even if it is the hardest to do.

Subject: a dream to remember
so in my dream at the foot of the bed was a white amorphos figure and approaching from darkness
at the head of the bed where my wife and i were sleeping was a man in a military uniform crawling
ever closer i said in my dream, "he's coming for her!" and turned to my right to get out of the way
and so he did come toward her the figure at the foot of the bed with increasing speed until there was
a spectacular collision like a supernova which woke me up and got me out of bed after what was a
close call i felt but
there in the next room for i had headed though the open bedroom door to get a glass of orange juice
in the kitchen to settle my nerves was a glowing and sparkling white being "casper the ghost like in
outline" sitting in a chair i could see it as i was passing down the hallway and i said, stopped and
surprised, " ma, are you still up?" and at that the being then stood up i also noticed that my mother
was in fact sleeping soundly on a couch in that same room thus causing me to realize that the being
was something quite unusual and as it did not respond verbally but only sparkled i become wary
and turned to my right and began walking away while still watching the apparition seeing that it
then too floated away to its right out into the night darkness through a closed class door

Hi Bradly,
Thank you very much for your take on my dream, after having time to think about it, I believe
you've come pretty close to what has been happening and has happened, and my feelings on them.
You've gotten so much of what is true out of this dream, things I completely missed, but are true
just the same, things I really do need to take care of and "rediscover." Again, thank you so much!

both the apple and snakes are fertility symbols. in olden days u would cut open the apple count the
seeds and that's how many kids u would have. snakes r also phallic symbols so if one snake killed
another that's no big surprise. just represents 2 men fightin" over one woman. what my friend julie
said is: u know she just wants to leave her boyfriend and be with this other guy. i concur.

I keep having a dream that I'm being strangled by an unknown force almost like an evil spirit or
something. Do you think that maybe my house is haunted or something?!? Someone told me that if
you dream you are dying(ex:that you are beeing stranglrd to death)then thats the way you'll die in
real life, is that true?!? Also I have one more question, is it true that what you dream can happen in
reall life, like your asleep and your dreaming that someone is chasing you so you run out of your
house and while your dreaming your actually doing just that SLEEPWALKING?!?

Hi,
You are probably having some breathing difficulties in your sleep. My guess is that you are
sleeping on your back, and probably have your arms folded over your chest. In any case, sleeping
on ones back makes breathing difficult because of the way the internal organs spread out. The
difficulty is more pronounced for people who are a bit over-
weight. On your second question, some dreams cause make you to make limited movements
suggested in the dream; like a running dream makes you move your leg, but the movement is small,
or just visualised. Only on rare occasions is there sleepwalking, mostly in children in feverish
condition. The main purpose of vivid dreams is to move you out of an uncomfortable sleeping
position, or wake you up.

I think that the dream means that you can stop think you don;t want in your life form coming in the
front door. Thats a good thing, now all you do is have to stop them from coming in the back.

Subject: Re: RESPONE TO NIGHTMARES!
NO! just cuz u had a dream u were being strangled doesn't really mean you'll die that way in real
life. i'm not saying it can't happen but the odds are not in that favor. and yes sometimes what u
dream can come true in real life everyone has psychic abilities (largely denied or underdeveloped).
so sometimes it can happen but if u get into meditation, creative, visualization, and get into books
on lucid dreaming u can predict the future a bit more and more accurately. i just recently had a
dream that a cat was injured and needed to be saved. a week later a friends cat was injured they
don't know by what. and one of the girls in the house got rid of the infection by his eye. what i
heard is that if u dream that u woke up and told someone about your dream while your still
dreaming than that's most likely to come true.

This dream really bothered me...
OK... prepare... it was strange... and even stranger that it made me not want to go back to sleep...
I was at these boat docks... there were two that were not connected. The water was gorgeous... you
could see all the way to the bottom... really warm... just beautiful. There was this really big, slightly
overweight guy there that I didn't know... he seemed like a tourist... someone that was new to the
docks... had a boat (I don't remember seeing the boat). He needed help for some reason... so I was
swimming (I was a competive swimmer so, I feel extremely comfortable in the water... kind of like
second nature) between the docks helping him (to do what I have no clue). There were huge, really
slow swimming but quite large sea turtles. I remember thinking that I knew they could be
dangerous. But, I kept swimming back and forth.. getting out at each dock... then getting back in.
On the last time... there was this extremely large (appeared to be gentle) sea turtle that as I was
swimming right beside... I couldn't seem to be able to swim away from him no matter how hard I
tried. The more I tried to swim away or put some distance between us... all of a sudden the turtle
put his huge arm (or whatever you'd call it) around me and was nipping at me. I couldn't get away
because the harder I tried the more it seemed to have the opposite affect. I couldn't breathe...
couldn't get away. For some reason, I 'knew' that if I didn't move... didn't fight... I would probably
be able to get away... but, I couldn't breathe.. I was under the water... so, I kept trying anyway. I
woke up truly frightened... I didn't want to go back to sleep. Now, why did that scare me so? I have
no clue... thinking about it now... it seems quite silly. The weird part about it is that I never, ever
remember my dreams... they never wake me up like that. Another thing is that I'm extremely
intuitive and all of my very strong feelings of whatever... typically come true. yeah, I know.... kind
of weird... but, I've challenged people to prove me wrong... have wished so
badly that I was wrong at times... I've always been right. So, something about this dream really
bothers me and things like this typically don't bother me at all... I'm just not like that... not at all.
So, why is this one bothering me so much? Really strange...

12/04/04 Astrarte's Day
There is a book which has been written by H P Lovecraft, but it is recent. The book is a scientific
study of Lovecraftian Dream or Methos*. It is in an Astral Science Library. There are about 300
pages in the book and the paper is a heavy bond type of paper. There are glossy picture of the same
house which is Witch House**. There are glossy pictures of the inside of the house, old wrikety
stair ways. In one picture it is of the front door and it is at the S.E. corner*** of the Hosue and the
House itself sits on the N.W. corner of a quiet intersection in a residential area. The stairs go right
down to the corner.I dream of this book for hours and the dream alternated with turning the pages
of the book. Also the House seems to be the same but many other houses.
